Ready for my Follow-up appt!
UPDATE: Customer Service has reached out to me on a couple of occasions and we scheduled a follow-up appointment. Since the majority of my disappointment was from customer service, I have revised this review to 4 stars. Thank you! I had my 1st appointment and it was not what I had expected. Perhaps I had high hopes since the MIDI website was exactly what I was looking for. I attempted to email my recent labs for the clinician to review prior to the initial appt and was denied since I was “not yet” a client. Then when I had my appointment, I was under the impression it was an hour app and it only lasted 15 min. I completed the intake form indicating my concerns to be hormones and weight management. My past experience is the provider combined the 2 since they go hand in hand. In fact, when I 1st started Hormone Replacement Therapy, it was for weight management. The clinician informed me they are separate appts, so this was discouraging since I am in self-pay. She apologized & explained why Customer Service declined to add the lab results to my account and told me to send them again. So I forwarded the previous email with the results. Unfortunately Customer Service rejected the email again stating I have to upload them the portal. This is very poor customer service especially being a new client. Leaving everything up to the consumer. I work full time, have family obligations but try to get my workout in and do not have extra time to upload docs previously sent via email as instructed to. On a positive note and the reason I would give MIDI another chance is the clinician said she would send the prescriptions to my pharmacy and she did just that. I had them within 24 hours, which I greatly appreciate! However I still do not have a long term strategy to help with the weight gain associated with post menopause. In addition, my follow up appt has already been rescheduled 3 times. I prefer to have a clinician who has more experience with post menopausal issues.
