After being brushed off for several years by PCPs and OB/GYNs, MIDI practitioners took the time to listen deeply and talk about options for HRT. There was no pressure to begin treatment, simply recognition of symptoms and education of options. I have since started HRT and feel like myself again! Scheduling was a breeze. The telehealth visits are high quality and always right on time. Prescriptions are sent to my local pharmacy and insurance has covered everything—the only out of pocket expense is a copay. The NPs I have worked with are, in my opinion, at least as knowledgeable as the MDs I have worked with: professional, empathetic, smart, and experts in the realm of menopause. All the boxes are checked by MIDI—highest recommendation!

My provider listened to my concerns with genuine empathy and worked to find solutions to my symptoms. It was easy and convenient to schedule appointments and amazing to find a midlife care provider that accepts insurance!

They advertise that they are covered by insurance. When I set my appointment they stated that they were covered by my insurance. (I have two insurances that work as PPO's). Then when I had my first appointment all of a sudden I was a "self pay" I've been trying to get this corrected but they simply state that I am under an HMO and won't be covered. I asked for a superbill (about 3 times) to submit myself and they only provided one after I said I wouldn't pay unless I had all the documentation needed to bill my insurance company. However, the Superbill they provided had inaccurate codes (per my insurance) so I'm still fighting to get correct information to pay the bill. My appointment was useless as I won't reschedule as this billing issue has been a nightmare. There is no one to even talk to. All communication is through email. What a waste of time and money.

Misleading. The initial appointment is supposed to be “in-depth” so they can better understand what is going as well as so you (the patient) can ask questions. Provider was 5-10minutes late to the appointment. One of the first things asked was what kind of medication did I want to address the issues I was having. I explained I did not necessarily want medication but wanted to know the options to better understand how they might be beneficial. No real discussion, was left with being prescribed a low dose of progesterone and patches. Was told I could just decide on my own if I wanted to use the patches. Did not explain what to expect or possible side effects. Did not really listen to concerns but I was reminded more than once that the appt is only 30mins and we’re running out of time and she needed to know what medication she should prescribe. Not at all what they are advertised to be. Extremely disappointed in the service provided- $250 for less than 30mins and no better understanding or insight. They also push to set up another appt to review labs and follow up, after we made the appointment she let me know that I can cancel too, if I decide this isn’t for me. Pretty sure none of the information I provide via their pre-appt questionnaire other then “what are the two most important things you want addressed” was even reviewed based on her lack of knowledge and then the information and suggestions provided in the patient summary. I let my PCP know of the poor experience since she was the one who had suggested them.

I highly recommend her to my family members and friends due to her expertise relevant to my situation. I received my medication and referral more quickly than any typical office visit appointment.
