I heard about MIDI from social media just Melanie from the We Do Not Care Club. My journey has not been an easy one the last six years however, this is the first time that I felt heard and listened to by a medical provider and I actually feel like I’m getting the help that I’ve been wanting for years. it was very easy to get an appointment. The provider was kind and understanding and I’m now on my journey. And couldn’t be more excited.

I am only giving 1 star because I liked the nurse practitioner I had. If your HRT prescriptions are hard to find… good luck! You’re on your own. It took over two weeks to find a place that had it to get my prescription transferred. They are really good at throwing the generic responses to you via email, can’t reach anyone via phone. Emails only. I asked for help for two weeks and super detailed responses about how they are there to help. They are NOT there to help. They are good at copying and pasting, that is it. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company.

I would have given them 4 stars but for the treatment change when I turned 65. Like every American, when I turned 65, I am required to add Medicare as my insurer. They knew I was turning 65 and instead of informing me that they do not accept Medicare, they converted me to "self pay" and then after my visit literally took my credit card on file for prescriptions to self help $150 (my copays are $14). Literally, instead of sending me an email notification of the Medicare exclusion, they surreptitiously changed my status from "insured" to "self pay" and then self helped to pay for the visit using the credit card I had had on file for my prescriptions. So unethical it is unimaginable.

I have never left a negative review, but my experience with MIDI was extremely disappointing. I chose MIDI specifically because it advertised affordable, in-network care. As an established HRT patient, I was not seeking a new diagnosis, treatment plan, or consultation. I simply needed a refill of a prescription that had already been prescribed and successfully managed by my previous physician. Instead of a straightforward refill process, I was required to attend multiple telehealth appointments, including an additional 30-minute visit that I found unnecessary and provided little to no value. During my initial appointment, I clearly explained that I was already on HRT and only needed continuation of my existing treatment. Despite this, I was required to schedule another appointment to discuss information that had already been reviewed with me by my previous provider. The most frustrating part was the cost. I ended up paying nearly $500 out of pocket for brief virtual appointments, and I have insurance MIDI accepts! I have never paid anywhere close to this amount with other healthcare providers, including longer in-person visits with physicians. With virtually every other provider I've used, there is transparency regarding copays, expected costs, and whether additional appointments are optional or recommended. That was not my experience here. When I raised concerns about the charges, the response from support was dismissive and focused solely on stating that the costs were my responsibility after insurance processed the claims. My concerns about cost transparency, the necessity of the additional appointment, and the lack of value provided were never meaningfully addressed. Despite requesting a phone conversation multiple times, I was unable to speak directly with someone to discuss my situation. The combination of inflated costs, unnecessary appointments, poor communication, and a lack of meaningful customer support made this one of the most frustrating healthcare experiences I have had. Based on my experience, I would NEVER recommend MIDI to anyone looking for HRT care.

Brittany, NP, was a gem! She was right on time, super knowledgeable and professional, and radiated caring and empathy. If I could have hugged her through the screen, I would have! One of the best telehealth visits I’ve ever had.

I have been dismissed for years by my women health care providers that I was either "too young" to be going through perimenopause at beginning at age 39 or my hormone levels were "normal" at 43. Or I must be suffering from general anxiety and depression so I should take a pill for that! But they never considered my hormones were fluctuating wildly. I finally had enough of being dismissed and disappointed at 45 and decided to try Midi. I am beyond happy with my first Midi health appointment experience! My Midi Clinician, Megan Bise NP, listened to all of my concerns, my symptoms that were starting to negatively effect my day to day life, as well as my past gynecological and family history. With compassion and understanding, she and I formulated a plan to treat my perimenopause symptoms within that one half hour and I was able to pick up my HRT the very next day from my pharmacy. The best part is that Midi takes my insurance and I can be seen in the comfort of my own home. This so far has been the best experience of being heard and understood and I cannot recommend Midi Health enough to any women who is suffering from Perimenopause symptoms! Thank you Midi Health.
