When purchasing my ring, I was told the guarantee was contingent on my visiting the store every 6 months for a short inspection. My most recent visit, I was told it would take over 40 minutes to do the inspection and the store would be closed at that point, so I would need to leave my ring there and come back again (1-hour round-trip by car). I asked to speak to a manager and waited 15 minutes only to be told that the manager was probably too busy to see me. I've spoken to Jared customer service and they were not very helpful and told me they can't promise that the ring can be inspected in any sort of time frame. Unless you want hours of your time wasted, and really poor customer service, you should avoid this place at all costs. It's really not worth the frustration and hassle. We bought another ring nearby at Zale's and have had no issues there so far.

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST BUSINESS MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE DEALT WITH. Products are overpriced and customer service is terrible. Employees are extremely dishonest and rude. Does not return phone calls and long waits at the store. Long story here: On our first visit to the store in March 2014, we put a center diamond on hold. We picked up the diamond after 2 and 1/2 weeks in April. When asked for the return policy, we were told: "30 days of wearing the diamond". We wanted to return the diamond after 2 weeks of wearing, however, the store refused the return, because the reservation period also counts toward the 30 days. In the end, the store agreed to do an equal exchange and told us that they will call us when they get some diamonds of the same size and quality in. However, the store did not follow up with us nor get diamonds in as promised. When we contacted the store, we were told that they have not yet gotten the diamonds in. We customized a ring setting shortly after purchasing the center diamond. We paid for the custom in April 2014 and had the wax made. Due to the promised diamond exchange, the sales reps told us to delay on making the custom until we finish the diamond exchange. The store let us use a setting and said we can return the setting when our custom is ready. The store received our payment for the custom, but did not once follow up with us to finish the custom and supplying us the product we paid for. We finally ordered the custom to be made in August 2015. Jared charged us an additional $1,165 due to "price increase of diamond and gold" over the last year. This is a 50% price increase and is very unreasonable since we paid for the custom in full already and were already in the process of making the custom. We were also informed that if we cancel the custom, we would have to pay $700 for the wax that was made. On top of all these, we ordered the custom to be made 8/15/15 and was told that it would be ready in 3 weeks, after various calls and 3 stops to the store, it wasn't ready until 10/5/15.

I was recently working at "Jared The Galleria of Jewelry" in Stuart Florida and witnessed things that are just unimaginable to me with my experience in the retail industry. Customers return jewelry that was unsatisfactory to them for whatever the reason may be. Nothing wrong with that, but here's what happens to that jewelry. Used, worn, broken, and scratched, "Jared The Galleria of Jewelry" checks the worn jewelry into the design/repair center, to be fixed, polished and cleaned to be re-sold as new again. Ones the jewelry is refurbished, it then sits in a drawer awaiting for price tags to be mailed in from corporate. Once the price tags have arrived, the used jewelry is re-ticked and put back in the case to be sold as new again. Unbelievable.

These people are a group of effusive liars. We had custom wedding bands ordered. They couldn't do it. Then they could. Then they couldn't do the design we wanted. After we showed them other rings that were similar, they could. The workshop manager seemed bewildered by the stupidity of her colleagues. They were going to produce a metal alloy mold. They didn't.They produced a wax mold that wasn't to size. They decided to produce one to size delaying production and requiring yet another trip to the store for approval and more effusive offers of bottled water. They missed all of the deadlines. After we got the rings, Debra, the annoying, apparently lying, effusive one, said they could fuse the bands while we waited. Today, we went into the store. Donna greeted us and when we told her why we were there, she said no they don't do that. April stepped in. She started to walk away with my rings, to talk to the jewelry people about when they could do the job. I demanded my rings back, and didn't think she needed to be walking around the store with my paid for rings in her hand to ask a scheduling question. Then, Stasy who is apparently the store manager, apparently replacing Wendy, who was the store manager 2 weeks ago stuck her nose into it. The earliest appointment was 2 weeks away. Are you kidding me? It takes 2.5 hours. Are you kidding me? Some middle age metal hawker yelled across the store twice telling us that they have stools we could sit on to watch. Let me get this straight, Lenscrafters can making eye glasses, actual optical devices that are medical equipment with fancy everything, in an hour and these rings, one of which was custom designed to fit and match the other one, and specifically designed to go together, required a two week wait and 2.5 hours of work? I watched three jewelers in the jewelry fish tank chatting. There was no customer in the store. I asked Stasy for a quote showing it cost zero dollars. I thought, if I had to walk away for two weeks, who knows what ogre would be in her job, right? Wendy apparently was vanquished, given what followed from this ogre, she might surely be and for good reason, too. Stasy said it was in our ESP contract. Having not a lick of knowledge of what we had endured, and unwilling to understand why I was so angry, even after my husband tried to explain it, she was condescending. I asked her if she understood. She said she understood English. That was it. I told her that they sucked at communicating, that I didn't trust them or believe them and that they had lied about everything they had ever said each time. I also explained two times that we were lawyers, once to a nosy sales person who tried to tell me about contracts. Given their prior behavior, I wanted the zero cost in writing. They never gave that to me. When I told them their sales person who lied was incompetent, Stasy then told me they would no longer help me and told me and my husband to leave the store. We demanded copies of all of our paperwork and left. Turnover, lying, incompetence, lack of knowledge, and an overall sense of unjustified superiority that is punctuated by lack of humility. While I realize the fat, mousey incompetent store manager didn't know anything about us, our records clearly show proof that these people screwed up our orders. The old manager gave us both ESPs for free. They needed district approval. They got our money. Now they won't do what we were told they would do. I'm the one who is out of line? I am not allowed to be angry. I am not allowed to say your incompetent? I didn't even use a single curse word at you. I'm your friggen customer for LIFE and you want to treat me this way? I am LIVID over the way we have continuously been treated. Do I remark on the manager's appearance. Damn straight. She was unpleasant, provocative in her demeanor, lacked any sense of customer service, and the fact that they all appear like middle aged, dumpy, ugly people is only highlighted by the ugly that comes out of their mouths in the form of lies and, with Stasy the Ogre, absolute dismissal of me. Yah, the way to handle me was to escalate matters - not to de-escalate and try to solve the problem so I would go away. Good work there, sweetie. Clearly you have not attended a whisper of training on how to handle a customer. You are ugly. You are incompetent. You are a liability. Do not for instant think this is a special place - do not be courted by their multiple offers of bottled water, and running commentary punctuated by words like happy, beautiful, lovely, stunning. They are like the mob. They will help you at first. They will promise you things you have dreamed of at a time when you want it. But, then there is the cost. Do not get in bed with them, you won't get out, and now to get anything I need, I'm going to have to find the Godfather, and have a heart to heart.

I brought a ring to Jared to be resized. Six months later my ring split but not in the place they usually cut a ring for resizing. I took it back to Jared and they charged an additional $45 to repair the ring. I paid the money, with reservation, and when I went to pick it up the repair was terrible! The ring was all cockeyed and crooked. I told them I wanted it fixed and when I went back the ring was even worse! After another attempt they finally got it better, but not the way it was! I will NEVER go to Jared for anything other than s Pandora charm!! Very disappointed with some of their staff also. One guy was very upset that we cost him a wedding ring sale and I definitely felt it. Another woman who waited on me the second time I went in to pick up my ring was very nasty and condescending!!

PURCHASED TWO TAG HEUER WATCHES AND WAS SCAMMED INTO PURCHASING UWP. 5 MONTHS AFTER PURCHASE TOOK ONE IN FOR REPAIR BECAUSE IT WAS LOSING TIME. THEN EARLIER THIS YEAR I TOOK THE WATCH IN FOR REPAIR AGAIN BECAUSE IT WAS LOSING TIME, AND WAS TOLD I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR THE REPAIRS. I STATED THAT I BOUGHT THE UWP, WHICH WAS LIFETIME. THE ASSOCIATE REPLIED THAT THE UWP WAS ONLY FOR 2 YEARS. I THEN STATED THAT NO IT WAS LIFETIME AND WHY WOULD I BUY A WARRANTY THAT WAS ONLY FOR 2 YEARS WHEN TAGS COME WITH A 2 YEAR WARRANTY. HE REPLIED I DONT KNOW WHY YOU WOULD DO THAT, BUT THE UWP IS ONLY VALID FOR 2 YEARS. I BECAME INCENSED AND TOOK MY WATCH TO FINKS, WHO CONTACTED TAG AND WAS INFORMED THAT MY WATCH HAD NEVER BEEN SENT TO THEM FOR REPAIR. I THEN CONTACTED JAREDS TO INQUIRE AS TO WHY MY WATCH HAD NOT BEEN SENT TO TAG WHEN I, FIRST BOUGHT IT IN REPAIR, 5 MONTHS AFTER PURCHASE. THEY ARE REQUIRED TO DO THIS AS AN AUTHORIZED RETAILER OF TAG. THEY COULD NOT ANSWER AND COULD/WOULD NOT TELL ME WHO HAD WORKED ON MY WATCH. THEIR ULTIMATE WATCH PLAN IS A SCAM AND THEY DO NOT FOLLOW THE WARRANTY OF THEIR VENDORS PRODUCTS. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AWFUL AND VICKI COPUS HAS NO SENSE OF CUSTOMER AS SHE COULD NOT EVEN RETURN A SIMPLE PHONE CALL AND WAS VERY PATRONIZING IN TRYING TO RESOLVE MY COMPLAINT

The customer service is by far the worst, I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go to Jared after our experience. The associates not only are clueless but continue to tell us false information and are never on the same page with each other. We came to Jared for wedding bands back in March. To start we kept getting shuffled to different associates and each time we had to re-explain where we were in the process which was beyond annoying and a waste of time. I felt like I was doing their job of telling them where my rings were and what to do next. They couldn’t even find my diamond from my engagement ring in their database. Anyways, we had picked out a few that we liked, the lady helping us said she could get them all in the store in my size so I can get a better idea of how they look. Initially we were surprised they would bring in all the rings in my size, especially considering I’m a size 4. On top of my fiancé’s two rings as well. So to clarify we asked several times and she said it wasn’t a problem at all. Since my fiancé is from out of town we told them he will be back visiting in May for a couple days and that would be his last visit till the wedding. So we have to have everything sorted and decided before he leaves and she assured us that was more than enough time to get the rings in by than as it only takes 4 weeks. She also told us that if we purchase a ring today we get $100 credit to use on anything in store without even spending a minimum. Than when the sized rings come in we just switch it out. She confirmed with us the entire plan several times and told us she will call in 2-3 days and let us know the exact date the rings would be ready in case I wanted to come in early to look at them before my fiancé comes back, she said she expects them in April. Well, no one called. When someone at Jared tells you they will call you…they NEVER will call you. This happened with the engagement ring as well. So I decided to call and get a update…apparently the rings were never ordered and we had to put 20% down…unless we have a Jared account…which we do…so still not sure what the problem was. BUT then she changed her mind and said we still need to put 20% down even with the account and that there is no way the rings will be in by May even though they had over two months. After constantly being put on hold and being passed to other associates they confirmed they can push the order through and get in all the rings. She told me she will call me back and confirm. Again…no one called. When we finally went into the store…we not only had to re-explain the situation but none of the rings were in, my fiance’s ring were ordered in the wrong size, and we were told we can only use the $100 credit on a $300+ purchase. SO ever associate pretty much lied to us about what they can do for us and we were not given anything we were promised. Even if the rings are amazing…I am so unhappy with this customer service they don’t deserve a penny for making this experience that should be fun and exciting so miserable and a waste of time.
