I bought the forever diamond ring for $1000 it had 2 gold pieces around the diamond, 10 months later the gold pieces fell off. we went to Jared to have it fixed and I would pay for it. I was told it could not be fixed ,so they offered to buy my ring for $500 and sell me a new one because I did not buy the warranty.[which they never stop trying to sell you] if they sold a good product I shouldn't need a warranty. so either way they make an additional $500. this place sells junk , would never buy from them again and if they sold quality jewelry I wouldn't be writing now. they do not stand behind their product unless they make more money. STAY AWAY

Horrible quality! Tricky promotions! Take your business elsewhere!
The sales lady at the store across from Concord Mills Mall in Concord, NC told me my purchase was eligible for no-interest financing for 12-months so that's the financing option I chose. At the end of the 12-months I see they charged me over $300 for just interest!! I called the store, spoke to the manager and wrote several letters. The sales lady and her store manager denied everything. I even wrote to the corporate office and got a very nice SORRY PAL letter. I have a huge credit line with Jared, non of which will be used on purchases!! CLOSING MY ACCOUNT! LOST BUSINESS! Jared is Horrible! SHOP ELSEWHERE! PS: Don't ever walk into a Jared VAULT store. That's a nickname for SECOND HAND NO ONE WANTS IT jewelry! Look under the microscope at any vault diamond and you'll see what I'm talking about!

Best jewelry store in Jacksonville, Florida.
I have been shopping at the Jared store in Jacksonville Florida for over 5 years. The store manager Brian and his staff have always been very courteous and helpful. The jewelry I have purchased has always been high quality and priced fairly. I bought an emerald ring for my wife last December and one of the stones fell out in July. I had bought the extended warranty, but forgot to bring the ring in for the 6 month check. They replaced the emerald, fixed the prong at no charge. They still honored the warranty when they didn't have to. I was just recently in the store to purchase a new wedding band because I had bent mine. Brian took my original ring, that I didn't buy at Jared's and straightened it back out and polished it for me at no charge. The customer service at that store is top notch, the employees are great, the products are high quality and always competitively priced. I am the type of person that it takes a lot for a company to earn my trust and Brian and his staff at the Jacksonville Florida store has done that. I wouldn't shop anywhere else for jewelry. Thanks for all the help and support over the years. I will be seeing you soon, again and again and again. P.S. Our grandchildren love the teddy bears.....

Jared is the worst, oh nooooo he went to jared!!!
My husband gotta my engagement and wedding ring from Jared and both needed to be repaired more than twice because of diamonds falling out. I had my engagement ring two days before a diamond fell out! They had both rings more than I did. My wedding ring needed to be sized, they sized it, told me it was ready, got there the lady said oh the diamonds kept falling out so we can't fix it and will not work on it anymore take it to another Jared stor. Again they put it in the shop sized and fixed, picked it up went into VS next door came out two diamonds fell out within 20 min of me picking it up........ Jared noooooooo!!!

Horrible customer service
If we would have been dressed up I think we would have been recognized quicker. The only person who asked if we had been helped was the gentleman vacuuming. Many salespeople just standing around. All I wanted was to pick up my poor quality ring that was supposed to be fixed by their professional jewelers. My center stone isn't loose now but the new head they put in is not centered. I will never buy another piece of jewelry from this low scale store.

Engagement Ring
My fiancé and I purchased my ring and 2 custom wedding bands from Jared in Annapolis in March 20, 2015. Since that time and through no fault of my own, stones have fallen out on 4 separate occasions. Some stones I’ve found, some I didn’t. During my engagement, Jared had my ring more than I. They refuse to give me last names, email addresses, or phone numbers for help. The District Manager, who would only identify himself as Michael, said a lawyer would take his side because he’s offering to continue to fix and replace the lost stone no matter how many times it falls out, for life. My wedding is in 22 days and I have no ring to wear. I need a refund so I can purchase a ring that doesn’t require repair every few months. HELP!

Watch being held hostage
I dropped my watch off in Tulsa (I don't live there). I told them I would need it shipped to my office after the repair was made. They took the watch and shipped it for repair. They called me and said I could pick it up. I explained again that I don't live there and that I travel everyday for work to different cities. They offered to ship it to any location (theirs) but refused to ship it to my office. They also refuse to pay for me to send someone after it as I cannot get to a location during their hours. They are rediculous and only talk about company policy. I have my claim ticket. I have a picture ID. I have the credit card with my name on it. They have my property and refuse to ship it to me. I'm considering suing for delivery and costs. But after 90 days they will send it to unclaimed property. $1500 watch. Some of the worst customer service I have ever encountered. There no decision makers a this company.

Jared, Westminster, CO on Sheridan provides shady practices and scams consumers
Please don't claim that you can do professional platinum sizing when you actually only file out as much platinum on the inside of the band while stretching and hammering the bottom of the shank to achieve a bigger size while compromising the look, feel, and weight of a customers original and prized diamond platinum ring. All by NOT adding any new platinum but claiming to, and charging for it. Then denying and lying about actual service performed. Especially, when the customer called first to discuss what they were expecting, and then reiterated expectations once again to Sherrel (about band being round, not flat, did not want it just stretched) when dropping off the ring with the rep taking in the repairs.
The worst part is that when the shoddy sizing job was vocalized,
-shank completely over filed (inside and outside) causing the whole shank to look super thin from original weight, sides of ring no longer round
-outside edges of band over filed, re-shaped and now shows flat instead of rounded edges
-two prongs on top of ring holding lower diamonds on both sides of band completely filed when altering roundness of outside of band, tips on prongs are not long and straight like others but angled where it got accidently filed when jeweler altered outside of rings
-overall weight of ring is now lighter
-all inscription gone, IGI control number (running along one whole side of band) and original PT950 PT logo (on other side) gone, asked if they re--stamped the PT950 since it was much deeper than original when picking up ring (repair pickup -rep states they don't do that, that was original stamp), however when complaining to to general manager she claims they always re-stamp marking
-NO APOLOGY, NO SOLUTION, NO ADMITTANCE OF FAULT
-THE AUDACITY TO TELL ME THAT THE RING YOU HANDED BACK TO ME WAS IN THE SAME SHAPE THAT I DROPPED OFF
My IGI appraisal states platinum ring setting weighed 4.2 dwt (pennyweight). After so called sizing job, ring weighed in at 4.1 dwt. How is that possible if adding more platinum to existing band? Kathy Honz had nerve to tell me they did nothing wrong, that they did "add" platinum, but had no answer for why my ring would weigh less if they "added" enough platinum to size it up one whole size. I Kept stating that you can visually see the difference from the matching wedding band to the diamond ring. Both Jeweler and Kathy claimed that my matching wedding band was a different ring and that that is why it didn't match the ring that they had worked on. Reason why the wedding band was more rounded then the sized up ring. Really, you are telling the customer that they don't know their own rings? Very dishonest. I am just grateful my center stone had GIA inscription on the girdle, for security reasons. It is a GIA certified pear shaped 1.25 carat, G color, VVS2 clarity, excellent polish, very very good cut diamond, which I did not get from Jareds.
Yes Kathy, I did buy it from Costco online. I state this because you were very unprofessional yelling at me when I walked out "a ring from Costco!" while smirking, even though there were customers all around. You showed horrible customer service when refusing to address/fix or refund the horrendous sizing job, but instead chose to accuse me of not knowing my rings. Costco sells an array of I color or better diamonds at VS2 (very slight 2) or better at a much better price. Can't say much for your inventory. I also buy from other retailers like Blue Nile, Ritani, White Flash, James Allen, Mark Broumand, Hyde Park, and Tiffany's. Unfortunately, from Jared in the past. However, Costco has the best prices that I've found, for the best value. This ring was well over $10K. After this incident, the next day I took ring to an independent jeweler who inspected my ring and couldn't figure out why if you "added" platinum to increase size, why the sides and shank on top of ring would be filed down so low, and ring weighed less than original weight. I then took ring to another Jared where the sales associate, jeweler at this location, and general manager all agreed sizing was not as promised. When she measured the overall thickness of untouched wedding band, it was 1.7 mm all the way around, however the resized band only measured 1.1 mm all the way around.
Wish I knew in advance that the "master jewelers" in that fishbowl averaged $8-$14 an hour (according to info on payscale). Again, if you are going to offer mediocre work, advertise it that way, let the customers know what to expect, don't claim services you can't and don't provide. And when you mess up, fess up. It's very bad for business and affects other Jared locations the same.
I have actual pictures showing proof of false advertising about sizing method on Yelp, under Jared, Westminster CO on Sheridan, if anyone wants to see proof. I only had the ring a month prior to taking it into Jared for sizing. So the band was not "flattened" by normal wear as Kathy accused could have happened. This location is dishonest and shady, stay away!
