This company is very bad The guy who did my tax for the previous year before last year 2025 was a whole confused person. He's logins for the filing were completely wrong and misspelled. And also they over charge for not doing a good job. I remember calling the manager or supervisor giving him all my correct information which he said he has updated it, whiles I was on the phone with him. It was a lie he never bothered to do it after waisting more than 30 minutes on the phone talking to him. Please and please again am begging everyone never to go there.These people bring unprofessional staffs to file your taxes and you end up with complications on your tax return with IRS. The guy who did my tax is called Jamal he will never respond to your call if you have any concerns about the tax he filed for you. That was my first time and I have promised myself never and ever will I go there again.

I used JH for the first time this year after being informed that my decades long relationship with my accountant would cost me almost 25% more than last year. I contacted Alexandra at JH in Selden, LI, NY. Took barely an hour, She was professional and charming. It cost less than half of the projected rate and I did not owe anything ! I have recommended this office and it has been used with success by some. I am a big fan

This was our first time trying this company. Should have turned around and walked out as soon as we walked in!!! The "office" was run down, and frankly, scary! Signs on the front door about all doors to attached apartments being locked. Seemed as though there was an eviction going on. The (one) lady working was really nice, but had no idea that she had an appointment. Didn't ask us any questions when we walked in, we had to start it all off, and finally got to the part that we had an appt. We booked the 1 hour appt and assumed we would leave with our taxes completed. NOPE. She need to hold onto everything and leave it for the next person, after telling us that she had been sitting there alone for 2 days until we came in. We spoke about the fee, "$149 OR LESS, for all situations, no matter how complex." Not true. She said the State could be 100's of dollars. Reluctantly, we left everything. Got a call next day from someone else telling us that it could be up to $900!! I quoted the ad from the internet and she said that their sign doesn't say that. We went in to collect our paperwork and I showed her the ad online. She had no idea it was there and told me it wasn't true. Hmmmm. We will be going elsewhere and NEVER going back there again!

Never again the process was fast and helpful once filing, BUT them fees was ridiculous & on top of that when you try to call for help they don’t even help you always giving you the run around but you filed my taxes and took almost $800 I won’t be back I usually do my own but I wanted the advance loan that I didn’t even get approved for. All in all go else where!!

Jackson Hewitt, Waldorf, MD Despite scheduling directly with the Waldorf office, wait times were excessive and service was unprofessional. On my first visit, I waited over 30 minutes and was told my taxes could be completed.When I called back after two days, my taxes were still not done. I rescheduled a second appointment, only to arrive and find the assigned preparer absent with no notification or estimated return time, resulting in another long wait. This location demonstrates poor communication, mismanagement, and repeated delays. I cannot recommend this office for timely or reliable service.

We usually do our taxes, but this year and within the past couple weeks we had a lot going on. We decided to go back Jackson Hewitt Southside Walmart. Amanda Greear was phenomenal! Awesome personality, great customer service and very friendly! She took care of us and explained things we didn't understand. When I goofed up on something, she called to let me know and I sent what she asked and she took care of the rest and made she all was good. Go see Amanda Greear at Jackson Hewitt.

My taxes were completed at a Jackson Hewitt branch; I was then given instructions how to access my account so that I could see my completed tax return and print a copy on my printer. I followed the instructions precisely. I could not get to my account or access my completed tax return. I tried calling customer service twice. Neither person was able to help me. I returned to the local office and asked them if they could help access my online account since I couldn't. One of the tax preparers said the people in the office had nothing to do with the jacksonhewitt website, and they couldn't do anything. Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend this service to anyone, or if you do, make sure they print out a hard copy of your tax return and give you an electronic file of it. However, I doubt whether they can do the latter. If you want to waste four days simply trying to get a print out of the tax return the company completed for you, by all means use this company.
