WARNING! DO NOT USE JH ESP. IF UR DOING TAX EXTENSION!!! Bkz this is the 2nd time in just 3 yrs that everything was fine when i completed my rtn before April 15. But when it came time to actually submitting my rtn - like NOW - I found TECHNICAL problems on JH's end preventing me from submitting my returns!!! THIS time, 2 of their forms (1099-R & DIV) suddenly have glitches, yet NO ONE HAS RESPONDED TO the HELP TICKET I submitted 2 WEEKS AGO. And when I call, they say THEY CAN'T HELP W/ONLINE FILING! NO TECH DEPT EITHER!! A TOTAL NITEMARE!!!

They charge a lot of fees and provide no assistance with your taxes, a complete waste of your time. When you call them, they simply hang up on you. Avoid contacting them at all costs.

Switching to Jackson Hewitt after years with H&R Block turned into an expensive mistake when two different preparers, including a manager, managed to cost us nearly $5,000 in unnecessary taxes. While everyone was polite, there is a real problem with the competency level there, leaving us with no choice but to pay a third firm just to audit their work and making it impossible to recommend them.

Poor, the guy who did my taxes had no idea what he was doing. He tried to tell me the money I was reimbursed for mileage from my 1099 had to count as income even though it was a business expense I paid for up front.

I have not been able to get copies of my 2022 tax returns. I've been sent via thier phone service to closed offices. This has gone on for over a year! And I get the run around when I do speak to someone. There must be some legal help

I would never used them again. They mess up on our tax refund. They after being aware of it and did nothing about it. Didn't even apologize about it at all.

I filed in 2021 and I have yet to see my tax return, I call them they either say they don't know or they'll call me back but never do. They like to be smart asses and unprofessional. Talking about WHEN I call your at the top of the list. I've been waiting 4 years!! So when are you gonna call exactly? I wouldn't recommend this tax service to my enemy me and my family will no longer be using this tax service. We'd rather pay the extra money or wait extra. Atleast it won't take four years and other places know and or can tell you what's going on. Not this one.

This company is going to have a lawsuit on them real soon
