Last year was the first time for me. I had big trouble that I only resolved after six months with the aid of my Congressman. I was right all the time on that one. Fool that I am I decided to give them another chance since they are close by. They filed my state snd federal taxes and determined I would Get a refund from each. Just to be safe I bought their insurance policy to protect myself. The IRS said I owed a thousand dollars and the would be no refund. The JH manager admitted they made a mistake on my taxes, but wouldn’t consider the insurance policy. I’ll go somewhere else next year.

We were totally disappointed with our tax service. Make sure you review your tax return before they have you e-sign. We did not get a copy prior to signing and it was sent in incorrect. Our tax preparer says don't worry but since the manager won't contact us I am sure if my taxes are questioned by the IRS, Jackson Hewitt will not help me. It is not cheap so go anywhere else.

I am having a terrible experience with Jackson Hewitt and would recommend everyone to stay away from this company. When IRS or any State tax authority challenge your tax return, no one is here to help and you are on your own. This is highly unprofessional from company of this stature. General Manager Juanita Felipe Hagerstown Maryland would hide behind an email and phones are never returned. Her local office staff will say she is the senior most hence no one else can help. The bigger issue is you cannot escalate your issue to next level. Corporate phone makes you jiggle between teleprompts. If anyone one in corporate office is reading this and wish to help can reach me at 212 203 8174. I wish I had the words to explain my mental agony, undue stress and frustration. STAY AWAY FROM JACKSON HEWITT FOR YOUR PEACE OF MIND.

We have tried other tax preparers over the years and they were all getting over priced for what we needed for our taxes. This is our second year with Jackson Hewitt and much to our surprise, we were greeted with a final price much less than what we were paying (about half). The added bonus was our Tax Professional, Pete at Cahill Main in Fitchburg, WI. Pete is a gem in the rough. He made our annual robbing by the IRS much more enjoyable. We would recommend Pete to anyone that needs their taxes prepared.

The person who competed my tax return was focused, confident and demonstrated knowledge of the tax systems information gathering steps.

Balwinder Chhokar has been doing my taxes for several years, and I'm very pleased with the service. I was unable to go to her office, and she picked up the tax documents from my home. She was able to complete the filing on the same day, and I was able to sign all of the documents electronically. The experience was great due to her customer service.

Jackson Hewitt has done me and my wife Taxes for many years. and every year there is a problem with either the fax machine or computer. To the wonderful Ladies , Mrs. Ann and Mrs. Sherry, who always seem to find a way to get it done, your going to be missed , but I'm moving on to a more reliable company.
