Honestly if I could rate a 0 I would. I filed my 2018 taxes last year with my 2019. Got my state back but the federal I am still waiting on. What is sad is I am still waiting on $5037 that they owe me. I filed last April 2020 and today it is June 2021. I called them last Friday to talk to someone and after an hour and a half of waiting on the phone I got to talk to someone. They asked if I could hold so they could look at my account. So of course I said yes and then a few minutes later I either got accidentally disconnected or hung up on. This is only the 2nd time I have been able to talk to a person since April of last year. I need this money to help my family. Called them this morning at 6:59 am and by 7am the que was already full and could not talk to anyone still. The frustration is REAL.

IRS stole $5,192.00 from me. It was my husband and mine Federal taxes. It was rightfully filed and owed and I have no way of getting in touch with anything. We are honestly struggling financially right now and needed our money back but they will not give us our money. We filed 4 months ago. I have no way of getting in touch with anyone.

I don't know how to start this off but I think it's very sad that the IRS sends stimulus to inmates to deceased people and not to the people who rightfully deserve them and they owe them to I think it's very sad that they can never give us any information on what's going on a lot of us are facing evictions a lot of us are facing likes being cut out a lot of us are facing repos and when you called no one can ever give you an answer they act like they don't care and a lot of us see and try to be strong for our kids and not let them see us break down and cry and anything else that we go to I think the IRS is a disgrace this year and last year because I did not receive my 2019 taxes nor my stimulus for 2019 I have not received my 20/20 taxes nor have I received my stimulus for 2020 I did not get government assistance I'm out here on my own facing a lot of things and it's been up my 10 10 weeks have been up I can't get an answer except for it's an errors why would you keep sending out stimulus checks before you make sure everyone has their tax refunds I think it's unfair I think it's selfish and I think you guys really don't care about what's going on you have people come in suicide you have people doing dumb acts because we need our money what is it going to take for you guys to understand we are going through a crisis and you guys should give us what you all rightfully owe us now if we owe you guys money y'all will be ready to penalize us garnish our paychecks and everything else and the president has set up and made it a law not to harass Asians when you should be trying to figure out how everyone is going to get their taxes that's why the rage is going up that's why crime is going up and it's sad I'm at my wit's end I cried my room every day trying not to let my kids see what's going on and a lot of us do some of us don't know when our next meal is coming from how we going to pay the next bill or anything when our money is just sitting there in errors Irs should have been the essential workers instead of instead of Amazon FedEx Nike or anything people should have been in that office getting people's money out a lot of us are depending on that money what do you do when you're at your weekend when you can't eat you can't feed your kids and some people are committing crimes because they need that money A lot of people are spazzing out because we are depressed we need that money a lot of us are out of jobs and we're dependent on that money to pay bills a lot of us are behind and I think it's selfish of the government and the president who is only worried about things that don't matter you're constantly issuing out stimulus checks before you even made sure everyone has their tax refunds it does not make sense to a lot of us when are we going to get our money when are you going to start working on the errors a lot of us are in our wits and we don't know what to do tax Advocate people they can't help you everything is a process and it's not fair because when people owe the IRS or shall I say Uncle Sam money he comes for his and they rightfully owe us our money and we can't get an answer except for is stuck an errors that's not an exception I think they are making up excuses I think it's sad a lot of us are going through hardship no one cares you can't explain to the bill collectors why you can't do this why you can't do that except for I'm waiting on my tax returns that's the only answer some of us can give them and we are like sitting ducks I found my taxes March 14 20 20 day was accepted March 15th I still have not got my taxes they're stuck in errors they owe me for 2019 and I have to send paperwork in that I've already sent in again I need to move I need to pay bills my daughter needs her car fixed amongst the number of things why is the president not pushing the effort for them to get the errors out of the IRS why are you sending stimulus checks tax refunds to inmates to decease people why not make sure that the people that you rightfully old get theirs first before you go to pusha more stimulus out it only makes sense to make sure everybody has their tax refund first then the first stimulus then the second stimulus then the the third stimulus America we have to do better they rather go fund things that are unnecessary except for the taxpayers tax refunds I think it is sad I think it is disgusting and we need our money I do apologize if something is Miss wrote or spoken but you guys can read between the lines it's sad I'm stressed out don't know where I'm going next and no one cares a lot of us can't eat can't sleep because we're stressed so stressed please release our money it's ours

The irs “where’s my refund” tool is a JOKE. Doesn’t help just says the same thing. Get it together and hire more people so we can get our money. There’s no excuse to be waiting almost THREE months for a return.

The customer services ZERO service... automated message system and when finally ( after Days , hours trying to reach a person...) then they DON’T know anything, they CAN’T do anything for you and they keeps directing people to call IRS to be “ informed “ Disgraceful and shameless . I changed address with USPS back in September/2020 , with SS office back in September/2020 , Driver license office back in September/2020 and almost every person that mails me billing information and what happens..??? Neither my refund or other money getting to me. I did my tax return back in April 3/2021 .... and “ supposed “ it was mailed to my prior address which I did change of address and even paid to USPS for this change. Outrageous that even doing my part .... IRS , USPS aren’t.!!!! But own them money.... and they will TAKES 2X , 3X more than what you owned ..!!!@‘

Been waiting on my income tax over a year & can’t ever get them through the phone. No type of help. The worst.

IRS "customer service" is the most laughable thing I've ever heard. They need to just keep it "IRS", period. There is no customer service, the only ppl who're nice to you either can't access a single megabyte of your personal tax info or it's the wrong dept. Even if you have the prompt numbers, still- you're calling all day long because every time you actually connect to the correct line, an automated recording tells you they're too busy and hangs up on you. How many ppl is it that get through, and actually recieve any legitimate assistance/resolution, and get help on average? 17-19, I can't remember, but that number is atrocious. And that's just the number who get through, we don't know if they were actually assisted in ANY way. They need more ppl! Just find previous employees and offer them their jobs back. They're HIGHLY understaffed, because of it over 29 million ppl have been waiting for two months, or longer, to get their refund. Keep in mind the majority of those families are low income and desperately need their returns. All I'm trying to do is talk to someone about my taxes, see why they're being held, why they've been "been being processed" for over a month, if there's anything I can do to help, or to just get a status and ETA for my refund. I'm certain it's not hard for most to believe, I've been calling them since last year because they were sending my stimulus checks to my ex-husband's address, even though I filed with direct deposit the year before. That resolved itself without me ever getting a hold of them for some magical reason. Now the extreme delay of my refund happens, I only just got through for the first time a few weeks ago because I purposely connected to the wrong dept. To my dismay, he was extremely rude, talked over me, said- and I quote: "I get calls like this all day long. You aren't the first and won't be the last". 😑 Unprofessional, inefficient, rude, condescending, useless, and a complete and utter waste of time. I've worked a total of 12 years of my life as a customer care representative, I HELPED people. And when I couldn't, I got a representative from the department that could, before I EVER transferred them. I'd have been fired a hundred times over if I treated and talked to ppl the way that man talked to me. It's unconscionable. If I could give him no stars or negative stars, I would. My overall experience would be described as EXTREMELY disappointed. I understand covid happened, that ppl are sending paper returns to add to the trailer full they still have from last year, that they have to find taxes from 2019 to confirm the correct refund for 2020, that they're understaffed and why, but that doesn't make it ok. My mother filed her taxes for 2019 AND 2020 less than 5 days ago and has already recieved her federal and state refund... what in the name of GOD is happening??

No help ! They send you to another call that leaves you in a ring. Circle ⭕️ no help to answer questions. So messed up. My stimulus was lost about three months ago an now they. Have left me with no way literally to receive my check after many other issues. As well. as my lady’s money was not received even on her tax return after she didn’t receive a check as well. An there is no one who can help us. There all ‘ that say let me send you to this person or area just to get rid of you when they know they won’t answer or it’s a machine.
