As a person who has voted Democrat in the last 3 elections, I find it highly hypocritical that the Irs is functioning so poorly under the highly touted Joe Biden administration. This kind of incompetence is just unacceptable. #trash

Something needs to be done about how rude, lazy, and disrespectful many of the IRS agents are on the phones. It is ridiculous. Some won't even give you the chance to explain the reason for the call. They just talk over you and act like children having temper tantrums. I don't think them being behind on their jobs is a reason to be rude to customers. After all, the money that we call about is legally ours, not theirs. If they can't handle the stresses of their job in a professional and courteous manner, they should consider making a career move. We are the ones being inconvenienced by them being lazy and not getting refunds out in a timely manner, having to hold for hours if you are lucky enough to actually get through to an agent, and having to put up with their disgraceful attitudes.
angie
they're really taking their sweet a$$ time with refunds this year...

NOOOO stars!!! I sat on the phone waiting to speak to someone for over an hour smh. As soon as I started explaining the reason for my call I was hung up on by this Disrespectful, Unprofessional, Lazy Lady.. I'm furious and wish that there was a way that the "Internal Revenue Service" could find out who she was so they can fire her A**! What a shame. Why can I not speak with a live person that is not Rude,Ignorant, or lies???? I can not even check on my taxes, Address, Etc.. This is beyond ridiculous!! I have tried for weeks to have someone help me with no success smh. They need to get it together seriously! And either get more TSR's or TRAIN them better. Is this what our taxes go too, Disrespect and lies?? So over it! Someone needs to seriously fix these Issues and these unprofessional people that they have working for them. There is 0 reason why US Tax payers can not talk to someone about our Taxes, Address, Etc.... I'm So angry!!.

I've been trying to get info about my 2019 return---to no avail. Every time I've called I get a robot saying there are too many calls, try again another day. Today I called first thing in the morning and the robot said the wait time was 30 mins to an hour. That was progress (I thought). I waited 52 minutes, heard a loud screeching sound for at least a minute, and then was disconnected. INFURIATING.
