I have a G5 with a standard battery and an extended battery my wife purchased from an online source. I’ve been using my G5 for about 8 months. Social Security and my other insurance pays for it. I’m pretty confident they are being charged a small fortune. I recently received a replacement unit because my original unit began to have some issues. So, right off the bat turning on the replacement unit meant listening to a motor noise I can hear on the other side of my house. Also, it seemed my batteries weren’t lasting as long as they normally would. So, after checking a few times and making sure I wasn’t imagining it I called Inogen customer service. I explained the issues to the rep and that’s when things began to go downhill. The rep completely ignored the sound issue but, I said hold on let’s wait. She asked me to perform a couple field tests. Okie dokie, went through that and she decided it was the batteries. She was going to send me a replacement battery for the original one but not the one my wife purchased from the online vendor. Question How did the rep decide both batteries were defective? Both of them were less than 8 months old. I must interject here and say the rep and I were having a communication problem as she spoke very softly, had a strong accent, and seemed like she was reading from a script. Anyway, I asked her why she would replace one battery but, not the other? Because the extended one was purchased online and she couldn’t find the serial number in her system. Still trying to understand that one. It’s an inogen product but, not warranted because it was purchased online. Still doesn’t make sense. So, if you go with Inogen and want your accessories to be warranted pay the extra bucks. I’ll admit by this time I was a bit frustrated with the rep and we never made it back to the noise problem. I asked to speak to a supervisor because I felt I wasn’t getting anywhere. She hung up on me. This is the first time I’ve had an issue with Inogen customer service. I’m truly disappointed. I felt I was being talked at and it wasn’t a conversation.

The portable Inogen allows freedom of movement, which is vital to health. It works fantastic, I purchased the extended battery and love the length of time I get. Wonderful product, lucky to have it.

The inogen works get going from car to car. Easily charges at home and car. My only problem is not with the inogen is at my age it gets a little heavy. I have used it as a oxygen source win the power has it last me about 3 1/2 hours. If you need oxygen on the go then Inogen is the way to go.

The portable O2 concentrator is heavy and bulky to carry. I don't like the intermittent O2 vs continual O2. This machine isn't as good as a previous one I've used. There can be a lot of improvements made to the portable O2 concentrator to make it more user friendly.

I wanted to order the machine for travel and the agent I talked to was Maggie and she was so helpful and nice. She went over everything with me and made the process easy. I asked a question she wasn't sure of and she asked another agent and got the answer for me. She was wonderful and made it so smooth and the product is awesome, it was exactly what I wanted and needed. Easy to use and worked perfectly right out of the box. I will be using this on every trip I take and I'm so happy my friend told me about this company.

The original sales representative, April, listener to my needs 'and, gave me time to make a discission.. The person helping us did a good job but could not help with extended canole .
