I purchased the Inogen One G5 based on the the product description by the manufacturer. My main concern was the noise level from the unit. Let’s face it any machine designed to create oxygen is going to do just that, so I’d be surprised if it fell short in that respect. However, I specifically looked for a unit that was both small in size and quiet while operating. The description read that it’s very quiet, only 38 decibels which is equivalent to a whisper. NOT the case with this machine. It’s not only loud enough to be heard while trying to sleep, but it’s “pulse function” (how it dispenses air) makes a sound not unlike someone on life support, a sort of hiss and pop that’s very distinct and not at all quiet. It sounds like a sick room in an ICU and is very unsettling.

First time I went to doctor's appointment. Much easier than tanks. In and out of car faster. When traveling can use adapter for car saves on battery.

Really friendly and helpful answered all my questions .She got me a great price and delivery was fast .

Quick and efficient service. Only drawback is portable unit is a little to heavy to carry around very long.

Two recent hospital stays made my Inogen easy to have with me to and from the hospital. So important when I needed it most.

There's pros and cons. I compared Inogen to my other POC. Inogen pros do outweigh the cons. I love the size and weight and being able to do my own maintenance on the unit. Also, the 3 yr warranty is nice. What I don't like is the sound level is not as quiet and it's not quiet when the unit is recharging the battery. I am not impressed with the carrying case either. It seems flimsy and there is no storage for anything, not even the tubing.

EASIER TO USE THAN A TANK.

Loving my Inogen G4 portable oxygen generator. You have to love the convenience of a unit that can be carried easily. Many other Trustpilot users agree. You have to love the fact that Inogen offers a lifetime warranty option. I just love that I just received my eighteenth oops! twenty-third! model G4 concentrator. I just love the fact that over the last four years, units have lasted not even three months. ** The last 3 units lasted 5 days each ** Gotta love that! I just love having to wait until the next business day to call the Inogen customer "care" number. You have to love the wait in the queue; and your call being answered overseas by an operator in India. You have to love responding to their scripted song-and-dance and have them try to recommend replacing a customer-expense part which has nothing to do with the "system error" message. Once I do go thru the song-and-dance, Inogen does live up to their warranty. The shipping department does a good job getting the replacement unit out the door that day, and I received the last one overnight without hassle. This 5-star rating that I give in this review applies ONLY to warranty fulfillment and shipping. You just have to love the product quality of a unit that I've had to replace eighteen times. So far! I love the customer care center, I have their number on speed-dial. I love the fact that the neighborhood UPS driver knows me. He's bringing me a new Inogen unit every few weeks. To all of you customers of Inogen: I hope you find a better reason to love your Inogen compressor. Good luck to all.
