The Imogen product is very good Your customer service is very poor. After setting up service with insurance , etc when asking sales dept. more questions NO RESPONCE! CUstomer sealed so why bother any additional service I purchased a additional battery and it took nurmeous calls to receive a receipt When calling the 800 no often put on hold for a long time

This is the way to go places. The large battery enables me to stay out longer than if I were using oxygen tanks. I also can charge my battery in the car if needed.

Would give 4.5 stars. Positives: Excellent Customer Service. Very Reliable. Quality, compact construction. Easy to change columns, clean filter. Fairly Quiet, though still a little 'loud' late at night, but not annoying. Negatives: Wish they had used a 'Tactile' On/Off Switch. Difficult to turn on in the dark ( can't find the switch ). We don't leave it on 24 hrs/day because patient does not require OX all of the time.

First unit we bought was extremely quiet. Fan Motor started making noise and froze up. Replacement very noisy, sent another new REBUILDT one also noisy fanmotor. Lady asked me to put it up to phone she agreed and sent another REBUILT one, also noisy we gave up. Guess they figured we would. Have compared our junk ones to others at to other Inogen like ours, ours is noisiest of all. Called two managers I had previously spoken to, left many Messages NO reply. Bad PR. Not happy customers for something we paid a lot of money for. Concept good product disappointing

I bought an Inogen portable oxygen concentrator at a really high price. I was told they would replace it during the first year with a "new" unit if anything happened to it. The unit stopped working, and the company replaced the concentrator the next day. That response was great. But I am almost certain that the replacement is not a "new" unit, but probably a refurbished unit. The replacement unit has a "knocking" sound in the motor that I know is not normal compared to the first unit I bought. I'm not happy given how much I paid for the concentrator.
