Both of the Inogen products I use have been problem free. Each time I call regarding something needed, I get nearly an immediate response.

Over the past four years I have purchased two units from Inogen for my wife. They brought a lot of comfort to her and allowed her more mobility and freedom from the house, not having to drag a lot of hose around with her. The unit worked perfectly and did it with a minor amount of maintenance. The smaller unit was a perfect weight and was used in what limited travel that we did to eat out and such. After she passed in July, I kept the bigger unit, and passed the smaller one to my daughter in laws mother, as she was hauling around bottles. Inogen's units are built tough and provide excellent service. And for what your getting very economical. They made my wife last years a little easier.

Relatively light and compact portable oxygen concentrator. Much easier than wheeling around tanks large enough to last 4 hours or more. Batteries are very reliable and the unit has not required service after more than a year in service. Alarms (visual and sound) alert operator of blocked air tubes or improperly inserted nasal cannulas. Can save your life. Only supplied oxygen when the patient inhales. No detected inhalation triggers an alarm. Its weight may be a problem for patients who have weak arms who do not have a way to carry around the device when they are walking about. Has made family excursions with 100 year old mother possible.

This unit is the smallest, lightest, most portable, easy to operate and, reliable machine that I have used. I have purchased, over the years, four different machines! I don't believe that a better machine for day use can be found. I chose three smaller batteries with the unit, instead of one larger battery, along with a battery charger and have had no problem with charging. The only "beef" I have with the equipment is the price for the charger!
