The Inogen 4 is light and easy to carry, and has a relatively good battery capacity. However it frequently malfunctions, and I have to replace mine 4 times. The company has been very good about quickly replacing the unit each time, but I think they should be more durable.

I have an Inogen One unit.Overall I am satisfied with the product performance. The only problem that I have encountered is in warm weather the unit has overheated and shut down.

I love my Inogen but recently I was told to add moisture to my big concentrator for at night. I called and ordered the parts, but the person did not order all parts because water got into my nose. I called and was told sorry u need a water trap but once again I drown at night with water to my nostrils. Called again, sorry can't help you.... I went thru my entire supply of nasal cannulas because water kept bypassing the water trap and going into my nose, I called salter for suggestions and it's still happening so I need to say I am unable to follow my doctor directions to help with my dry nose.

Great product and great customer service.

My Inogen is awesome! The machine works great. Not as heavy as my canister of O2. The extended time use is awesome. I love the double battery convenience when going to grandkids basket ball games, weddings, social gatherings etc. Really nice to be able to use and charge at the same time, at a family gathering, plug it in or charge while driving with an adapter for the cigarette lighter. Matenence is easy and machine tells you when it is time. Two cylendars about $100 dollars, approximately once a year.... easy to replace the old ones. I do wish the machine was quieter at times. For example, movie theater it sounds loud to me and other people can hear the pulse action too.....at funerals and silent praying at church. Also would like to see a zipper pocket on the back to carry ID, emergency instructions and your personal rescue in hailer, cell phone. Personally I would like to see Inogen sell an addition add on of O2. Eye glass frames. MY INOGEN OXYGEN PORTABLE CONCENTRATOR ALLOWS ME TO GO PLACES WITHOUT HAVING TO CARRY MULTIPLE, HEAVY 02 TANKS JUST FOR A FEW HOUR OUTING. I LOVE MY INOGEN! Sincerely, Miss Penny

I have never before had a problem with Inogen. My husband also uses your equipment, and without letting us know his copay had increased by 1/3 earlier this year I started getting bills all of a sudden for money we owed, with no explanation. We eventually worked this out, but it seems this was not a great way to conduct your business concerning an increase in copay. I have been an Inogen customer for more than 5 years and never had a problem. I got a letter from you in May 2018 stating that my equipment was basically out of date, and that I needed a new Medicare recertification and then would be entitled to new equipment, more specifically the smaller portable concentrator. I followed through right away and was informed by Inogen in late May that everything was fine and I should expect my new equipment in a few weeks. Weeks and months went by and I was told 1) that my health care provider had used the wrong coding and you would contact them to correct the problem, 2) that I was never informed in May that I should expect my new equipment so soon, 3) that everything was taken care of, and 4) that there was still a problem and I needed to be re-certified again with Medicare. I had an appointment with my pulmonary specialist in August and told her of this problem, she contacted Inogen and got the paperwork, filled it out, and within a few days everything was ok. I got my new equipment at the end of October! While I was waiting I had a problem with the floor model concentrator and Inogen sent me another one and picked up the old one. The new one is not nearly as nice and I am unhappy with it, but I have not contacted you before now to voice my concerns. The bottom line is that I truly hope we can go on from here without such problems. Thank you.

I still need my oxygen concentrator at home. But for outside activities, it can't' be beat. It really makes a difference.
