Save your money.... I did not have a perscription which you need to get machine. The 1st one lasted less than a year and stopped 45 minutes from my house with my 93 year old mom with me. I was over 2 hours without oxygen and I am on 24/7. After numerous phone calls and getting very stressed out they decided to send me another machine. Less than a week later the replace column light came on.Columns were sent - this machine was a previous owned by the way with 259 hours on it. Less than 14 days total machine quit..... Done Gone. They have now informed me that I should have never gotten the machine to begin with I didn't have a doctors order. Thank you very much for me getting stressed out as much as one can and do not need to be. Don't buy. Save your money.

Inogen G4 is more versatile than my 4 year old AirSep Focus; it functions for sleep and having variable oxygen delivery settings is useful for more patients. It has newer technology and a nice user-friendly display. I was steered to the G4 when the Focus went out of production and am quite pleased. We'll see how durable it will be. My only complaint relates to the poorly engineered accessories: the bag and shoulder strap are flimsy and clips are fragile plastic. The strap attachments on the bag are on the mid-back, so the G4 won't sit upright unless the strap is worn cross-body (AirSep's bag and straps are very sturdy, its clips are metal covered in faux leather, the straps attach to the top of the bag for superior comfort and keeps the Focus upright even worn at the side).

We are on our third machine in less than a month and as I'm writing this I can hear it beeping while it turns itself on and off. My father is making every attempt to help Inogen make this right. He has even agreed to take the money he already used, $4,000 and add to it so that he can have the inogen 5 sent to him. Inogen took the money for that on the 23rd of this month yet the machine will not be delivered until the 31st? 8 days to UPS? If this machine fails to work we will be requesting a full refund. I'm sure we'll have to pay a restocking fee but what other choice do we have?

I am fed up with all the damned spam Inogen sends to my email. I will never use Inogen due to their marketing practice of using spam.

The Inogen machine has been very good to help get around much easier. But one battery seems like it cannot hold a charge. I called and customer service told me to continue to charge it and see if it will hold a charge. It doesn't. I wish they would have sent a new one to me.

I love the machine as it has allowed me to enjoy getting out and about as i did prior to developing lung problems; however.....Not thrilled though when after 10 months and maybe 20 hours of use, got a beep to replace the columns. Machine completely shut down and would not restart when this happened and I happened to be out in a store, so that was problematic. Battery doesn't last as long as they indicate. When my battery is fully charged, it will tell me i have about 1.75 hours (glad I'm not on 3 lpm or i probably wouldn't get an hour out of it). Customer service is pleasant, however, they will not ship the new columns out overnight even after i indicated that the machine completely shut down and would not restart. Have to wait 3 to 5 business days. Obviously their customer service department is not oxygen dependent. Like i said, love the convenience factor; however, don't love everything about it or the company.

I can have oxygen anywhere I go I love it . just wish they were covered under ins.
