This was a much better source of oxygen equipment than then cylinders I had been using and much safer as my Sales Representative Josh had mentioned. Especially when traveling to and from our cabin up north. I am able to now go out to visit family without feeling ashamed to have to use an oxygen supply and pulling a large cylinder around. I truly enjoy my Inogen and glad my son & my husband talked me into getting one. They had gotten brochures prior to making a big decision to purchase one and spoke with Josh on the phone was nice to get even more information. Felt confident & he truly cared for my well being to have a better life with having to use oxygen after having COVID-19. Glad I was able to stay alive, but sad that it attacked my lungs. If it would have gotten my heart too, I wouldn't be here to talk about it. So Inogen is a great medical supply product and would recommend to others that are looking for a much better life living with a lung condition and not feel ashamed to go out and do things like walking, shopping or visiting friends & family with social distancing of course. The Inogen at home unit is lighter and less bulky than my previous unit and not quite as noisy. This allows me to take it in my Motorhome which I could not do with my previous unit. Because it draws less power I can run it off my RV batteries overnight (using an inventor). The only thing I don’t like is that the on/off micro switch does not have a light and is hard to feel in the dark, and the unit was pretty expensive. Overall I am very happy with the unit.

I was charged more than the salesman quoted, I tried to return a hip bag carrier that I never used and was told I can not do that. It is and was still in the original packaging. I attempted to contact the salesman multiple times all to no avail because I was told that maybe he might be able to do something to help the return. He wanted nothing to do with me after the sale. You can get better service elsewhere. Also trying to get customer service for trouble with the device is a tedious chore to wait for someone to answer the phone while in the queue, expect at least a 20 minute wait.

Concern about nasal supply cannula tube. The little piece of plastic that slides up to my chin won’t stay at my chin. It slides back down.

I am so impressed with my Inogen machine. It really helped me to get out and about & not stuck to my hose at home. T. Horn

the one thing I would have liked is for the breath intake to be longer. not connected to the concentrator it self but the warranty. I never received any thing that showed it was a life time warranty I have called several times 1-855-622-8691 and was cut off or not able to get through

I can say Inogen One G5 oxygen concentrator is an excellent machine. It is really a light and perfect machine serving what I really need for oxygen supply. If using it by night during sleep, there is that “puff” sound when oxygen comes out, this is audible and annoying sometimes; otherwise it is great and I am now used to the sound. I was told by Inogen’s salesman that the sound will go away after 2 weeks, however the sound is still the same after 5 weeks. I do not believe the sound will disappear or even gets lower. The only very very terrible and bad incident I had; is actually related to FedEx (Shipping company) not Inogen and I asked why Inogen insists on using FedEx; the reply they did not have shipping problems from FedEx!!! I was actually expecting a reaction from Inogen towards FedEx but this did not happen. Upon purchasing, Inogen shipped the machine from their facility at LA to San Diego, where I was staying, using FedEx but I never received the machine. Inogen had to ship the machine 3 times in 3 consecutive days. FedEx failed to deliver the shipment due to unjustified reasons (first shipment was not delivered, FedEx said wrong address but it was not true). Second time, after changing delivery to a FedEx office to avoid their false justification “wrong address”, they said our FedEx office do not receive that type of packages. Third time shipment, FedEx said, the machine was delivered “by mistake” to another city (Ontario) and will not arrive to San Diego as scheduled. Finally, to sort out this mess; I had to take the risk and travel by night using a rental car for about 450 miles, from San Diego to Inogen facility at Goleta, LA in order to pickup the G5 oxygen concentrator by myself; because I had a flight early next morning flying from San Diego to New York, where I had to fly back home to Egypt. I asked Inogen to file a case/complain against FedEx and they never replied back after purchasing for more than 6 weeks up till now. I want to take further action towards the incident and I wish to receive a response from Inogen regarding FedEx mess. I am sure that FedEx is an irresponsible shipping company having careless and unresponsive employees.
