J.T. handled all the details of my purchase. He was both professional and customer service oriented. He explained each aspect until I fully understood what I needed and wanted. Not only can I hardily recommend the G5 but the people that you work with concerning your purchase(s).

batteries
I assume the oxygen is coming through as advertised. However the batteries are a different story. The large battery which is supposed to last about 4 and a quarter hours, 255 minutes, actually lasted 2 hours and 39 minutes, 159 minutes, about an hour and a half less than advertised. The small battery which should have lasted about 135 minutes, actually lasted 77 minutes, about an hour less than it should. Also there is no way to charge one battery while using the other

Inogens consistently contacted me after…
Inogens consistently contacted me after I made an inquiry. Because they did not accept insurance,I would not benefit from inogen. They induced me into the acceptance by saying, Medicare nows pays them so I would be eligible for a inogen. Great. I accepted the equipment on a 30 day trail. Went through my doctor, got the exam required. Told inogen I would be going into UHS insurance with the new year coming up. Again inogen stated no problem. Just call the insurance in when you get the new card. I returned my old equipment to the network provider. Although this should be questioned because I believe after a period of months, the equipment is owned. No longer rented . Once my UHS kicked in,2021, a month later, inogen is sending boxes for the return of the equipment stating pay cash, finance equipment or return it... This is no doubt, a bait and switch program inogen has going on. Yes, I will follow up with a legal complaint after inogen induced me to give up oxygen equipment for equipment I obtained under false pretenses and misrepresented facts that I relied on to make a decision on my oxygen. This company has willfully disregarded my health and safety when they have a duty of care when providing DMI to patients. We are not just disabled and elderly, we are patients. This is who you are selling life preserving equipment to. Complaints are being filed . I warn others to be careful when dealing with this company. Also the battery life is only 2 hours. They claim 4. On level 3,only 2 hours.

Charge $285 more for a battery charger!!!!
You would think paying over $3000. They'd put a battery charger into the package! For another $285 for a charger! Just ridiculous too keep charging for add ons that your going to need! Back pack $100! Bad enough dealing with bad health and insurance won't help!

For $1700
For $1700, I would certainly expect the battery to last much longer than one hour and twenty minutes. A power outage yesterday called for use of the Inogen One. The backup battery had not held its charge and the one that did function ran out of juice in 80 minutes. Fortunately, I had tanks.

Why is there such a slow delivery speed
Before I made the purchase, I emphasized that I was in a hurry, and they agreed, but when they took my money, they didn't ship the goods or contact me, cheating the company!

My batteries life is much shorter than…
My batteries life is much shorter than I was told. The large one was suppose to last for 4.7 hrs, it only last for about 2 hrs. and the small one only last for 1 hr.
This makes the inogen not very useful for any time away from power source.
I DID follow the directions for charging them the first couple times. I feel you should correct this problem.
