UPDATE: 2/13/22 I bought a backpack for the Inogen One G5 unit off of Amazon, and it has been a game changer. I work in a busy school environment, and being able to wear my G5 unit in a backpack has allowed me to have additional freedom and has taken the strain off my right shoulder. I no longer have to take my unit off to place it on the floor when I sit down to work just to have to pick it up again 5 minutes later to sling it over my shoulder when I have to stand. I have a double battery and a single battery. I charge them both at night and can make it through almost all the workday before I have to switch to the single battery. I'm on 2 liters. I am unable to plug my unit in at work to keep it charged as I am up and down too much to make that work. I plan to save up for another double battery, which will give me a combined total of about 22 hours of battery life between the three batteries (two double and one single). Original review: I have had my Inogen unit about 5 weeks now. I was hesitant about buying the Inogen portable concentrator, but the sales person (Marisa) couldn't have been more helpful. She was knowledgeable about the product, warranty, and usage, and she has quickly returned my calls for follow-up questions about the unit. I'm looking forward to my vacation this month. Before I received my portable concentrator, I dreaded having to take my home concentrator and multiple oxygen canisters on my trip and having to locate an oxygen company in each town to exchange the canisters. The Inogen concentrator will allow me to travel freely without those concerns.

Exactly what we needed when we needed it. The supplied oxygen tubes were a little too lightweight and kept kinking, but we had spares so it really wasn't an issue. Easy to use, battery charge lasts as long as we need it. Great little machine!

Since this G5 unit is to be used 24/7. a longer oxygen supply tube could have been included. I know I don't want to sleep with the unit as near to my head as the length of my cannula. I am also disappointed that the unit is heavier than what I thought it would be. I'm small and the unit is still a bit much for me to have to carry around, another reason for a longer oxygen supply tube to be included.

It does not work for me G5 is very loud and the salesperson you can never get in touch with customer service is no help at all I’ve been trying to return the ones that don’t work ended up paying for it my self still trying to return the one I can’t use per my pulmonologist says I don’t benefit from it it doesn’t keep my O2sats high enough to be safe and I’ve been through 8 phone numbers they recommended me to call and they all have nothing to do with Inogen buyer be ware i have a 3,000 dollar machine sitting in the box unable to use and no one to help me!!!!! I’m going to talk to a lawyer now look on BB Bureau 1star bad reviews then check theirs and it’s the same so do your homework and don’t become a victim like me!!!!

I like my Inogen At Home system- the overall noise level is a lot better than my rental concentrator was- but I wish there was no "gulping sound" every minute or so.

I had to buy a concentrator for my brother. The representative Natalie was wonderful to work with! She was professional and explained all the details in a clear and concise way. She followed up to make sure the concentrator was delivered and asked if we had any other questions. My brother is extremely happy with it and is breathing well! I would definitely recommend purchasing from Inogen in the future.
