I received my unit in good order and have been using ii periodically. At first I was disappointed with the seemingly short battery life until I determined that it was using more juice because I was using a setting of 5. I have since been lowered to about 1-2 while at ease, and cranked up to 5 with a higher level of activity. I am very please with the most courteous and helpful sales help from the Inogen people I delt with. I am pleased at this point with the performance of the unit. I will advise if I have any issues in the future.

First got my Inogen just a little over 2 years ago. 9 months into it starting having problems shutting down, and beeping for check columns. So the tech from the hospital we bought it from came and replaced it with a loner until mine came back. All was good for about 4 months and my machine kept beeping again saying check columns,. so i got another replacement Inogen and now not only the beeping is back for check columns, and gets hot and shuts down. Different times it has gone in to be fixed, in less then a 2 year period. It works great when it works

I love my G5 the only drawback is the backpack. I was hoping for a small backpack that would allow for just the Inogen G5 and perhaps the xtra double battery. The one that is available is huge like the size of a camping backpack. I just wanted the ability to be hands free while giving my shoulder a break. Perhaps you have or would consider creating a smaller backpack? Other then that I’m thrilled and would have given it 5 stars … but even that small unit with a double battery gets heavy on ones shoulder pretty quickly. (Yes I do have the cart but I need to be hands free when walking my dog etc.).

The machine stopped working 4 days into our 7 day trip. I was very disappointed as that was the main reason we purchased the machine.

When I first needed oxygen 24/7, I insisted I have an oxygen concentrator to take with me when I needed to leave the big concentrator at home. They (Medicare) attempted to push me to using oxygen tanks. That couldn't work for me. I'm small, and not that strong. When I finally received a portable oxygen concentrator, it turned out to be more than 10 lbs! It was the only brand available to me from Medicare. I wasn't at all happy. I decided to purchase my own portable oxygen concentrator. I already knew I wanted an Inogen because I'd seen really good reviews and knew a couple of people who used them. I was so lucky to have as my representative, Dane Burton. He helped me put it all together, explained the information I needed, and made such a difference in my life. I'm so grateful for Inogen, and it's splendid representative, Dane.

I like that it is light and quiet. I dont like it's critical design flaw thas the outflow is pointed upward and every oxygen tube put on it, collapses and the answer when I called was put a straw on it. I already tried that, it doesnt work. I tried knotting it but in moving around she pulls that too tight. Inogen needs to come up with an adapter to keep the Oxygen tube coming out of the home generator straight.

Very unhappy with Inogen. My wife’s G5 broke down and when I called the company the first two I talked to never told me our machine was under warranty. In fact, I was told I would have to rent one from an outside supplier, of course I never found one who ha a machine for rent, and they would fix ours for $450. Then, after we purchased a new machine for $2795, Inogen calls and says the first two people should have known the machine was under warranty and we should not have had to pay anything for a new machine. But,’of course,‘it’s too late for them to do anything about it now. Very poor support from an company we have always thought we’re very good.

The batteries , one battery holds 1hour and 20 minutes and the other battery holds 2 hours . I thought each battery should 3 hours each. See what you can do for me.,
