Smaller than the old unit. Easier to move as it is light. So much quieter!!!

I'm very pleased with Inogen. However, its not as quiet as I thought it would be, or lightweight.

My Inogen portable G5 concentrator has given me such freedom to roam with peace of mind knowing I can breathe easy. Having two batteries allows me to keep one charged and ready if needed.

The only issue i have with this unit is that i was told ii would get approx. 4 1/2 hours on o full charge. I have yet to break the four hour mark. 3:40 - 3:50 is all i get

A good help in getting out of the house and in between stationary machines within the home. A bit louder than I expected. I/m wondering if I should have gotten something with higher level than 3.

I am very pleased with my new INOGEN unit, which was badly needed. This past year with the COVID-19 situation, I have a 50 plus year of history of Silicosis Disease after working as an Accountant in the Office of the Mining of Quartz into various sizes from 450 microns to 1 inch landscaping stone. I started in 1962 to 1969 when annual X-rays detected evidence that needed to be investigated and Specialist needed to perform surgical procedures to get a Biopsy help them determine that it was positively a case of Silicosis which it was. Dr Hennessy in Hartford told me with age the disease would probably progressively get much worse. In the years it progressed slowly but dramatically and in 2019 during the dramatic higher period of COVID-19 they thought that I might have it even with all 12 negative results. I spent 4 weeks in the Hospital of which I was 8 days in CCU in a highly quarantined room with pneumonia and other respiratory issues. I was ultimately sent again quarantined for 14 days to a rehab facility for 2 to 3 weeks. My long term Pulmonary Physician after draining my right lung during my hospitalization and ordered me on 2 to 3 liters 24 hrs 7 days. I used a Bipap machine at night due to my stopping breathing during the night. My real problems are my physical condition. I have pins in my right ankle along with metal. Two knees that were replaced. A left hip was replaced due to a fracture. After a number of surgeries in my lumbar area a fusion was completed in the 70’s. I have three areas in my back with severe pain but carrying canisters of Oxygen when I go to the Doctors appointments and seeing others with a INOGEN and it’s ability to produce Oxygen for me was a highly desirable unit. Yes, Medicare did not want to cover a unit in spite of all my conditions so we paid it with our savings. Leo R Lavigne Brooklyn CT
