I was returning a carpet sample and wanted to discuss buying some carpet..I already had a measure down that day. I waited in line for about 15 minutes until I was next, she started to wait on me when a well dressed business man walked in. She started waiting on him instead! She showed me how invaluable she thought I was. When she was done with him, then she made a huge fuss that the sample I brought in was late and a valuable customer was just in to see that sample. I had to wait then for her to call the customer ant hear her say, "they finally brought it back!" I told my original sales lady that I would bring it back that day, after the measure guy left and I was NOT late bringing it back. She say, "your not late, it's just it is a popular sample". Not getting my carpet here! In response to the stores reply, it was not busy in the store. It was about mid morning, Friday, and the reason for my wait was one customer who just took awhile. I was the only other customer in the store. Another came in when I was leaving. I thought they needed more than one person at the desk. Later when it was my turn, a young guy came out .the rude lady was blonde.

I had a great experience with Jeanne, my salesperson. She was awesome, caring, and very knowledgeable. I would come back to see her again for sure. My installer and his son did an amazing job too with my install.

Just had Lees carpet installed in my bedroom. Oh it's just wonderful! So soft and great color.

Cathy was knowledgable, polite , attentive....a nice polite person to deal with

Would recommend highly to others and use again myself!

As an in-experienced shopper for hardwood flooring, I was completely satisfied with all aspects of the process. I selected Hickory Hardwood flooring for my newly remodeled master bedroom & closet project. The product delivery by Shane was smooth. He kept in communication as to the material delivery time, as I was extremely busy that day and didn't have to sit home and wait... The installation process couldn't have been better by the courteous, conscienctious & precision of Joe. He was extremely careful of the newly painted walls and moldings. Joe installed the flooring over two days and it is flawless!! The final result is amazing. The floor was the showpiece of my total home project. (don't tell my contractor :) Friends & family were complementary of the workmanship, brilliance & variation of the Hickory Wood flooring. My Sales / Designer is Cathy Buchanan who assisted me with many aspects of my home remodel -- an extremely efficient, creative & caring individual. I would highly recommend Independent Carpet One for your home projects.

Everything I asked for and all the updates I needed as to the status of my order were answered promptly and honestly. The installation crew were efficient and quick. My carpet is lovely and I would recommend Independent Carpet One Westland highly to anyone. And I'm fairly picky! Great job! Honest service! Family owned! All the best things about local business.
