We were very disappointed with our carpet installers. They ruined several walls that need to be touched up and painted. Left grime all over the doors. And the only thing that was offered to us in return is to pay for a painter to do the touch up. When you spend almost $10,000 with a company, you woudl expect a little better service. I also work in the insurance industry and refer clients to their store. I will not anymore.

My customer is very unhappy we have been trying to get the customer concerns taken care of. 1. Bubble in the new floor 2. Carpet has a hump in the pad. 3. Carpet was not iron on the joint. Gary is going to the job Wednesday May 23, 2018 I hope Gary can get the problem corrected. i was satisfied with the service from Bob Francavilla and the sales person Jennie they are doing everything to help. The floor looks great, however, it's not finished. It was installed June 26, 2017 and still isn't completed. I initiate calls to inquire and haven't received call back.

I was returning a carpet sample and wanted to discuss buying some carpet..I already had a measure down that day. I waited in line for about 15 minutes until I was next, she started to wait on me when a well dressed business man walked in. She started waiting on him instead! She showed me how invaluable she thought I was. When she was done with him, then she made a huge fuss that the sample I brought in was late and a valuable customer was just in to see that sample. I had to wait then for her to call the customer ant hear her say, "they finally brought it back!" I told my original sales lady that I would bring it back that day, after the measure guy left and I was NOT late bringing it back. She say, "your not late, it's just it is a popular sample". Not getting my carpet here! In response to the stores reply, it was not busy in the store. It was about mid morning, Friday, and the reason for my wait was one customer who just took awhile. I was the only other customer in the store. Another came in when I was leaving. I thought they needed more than one person at the desk. Later when it was my turn, a young guy came out .the rude lady was blonde.

We are receiving services for carpet, tile, and hardwoods. The hardwood installer was a wonderful craftsman and took a lot of time to make things look great. The stain, unfortunately, is blotchy, not dark enough, one can see circular marks from what appears to be wiping off. It needs to be refinished by someone experienced with dark stain. A repair or replace work ticket was submitted a week ago and we have not heard back yet about when someone is going to come look at it. I followed up and still, two days after following up, have not heard back. I consulted some other finishing companies and we do not think the dark stain was applied correctly. So, most of our interactions with Independent Carpet One have been amazing except the handling of the stain issue. We opted for Independent Carpet One because of the lead time of sand-in-place was the quickest to coordinate with moving into our new home. And now it needs to be refinished again and we will lose a layer of wood, not to mention time in moving things again right away. We just want our floor taken care of and refinished properly so we can move in.
