No one at this bank seems to have a clue on how anything works. They only calculated the monthly statement on 29 days instead of 30 making me miss out on the ACH transaction that was needed to get my higher interest rate. I could go on and on about the other issues I have experienced and it has been a very frustrating experience.

Called for basic information about opening a checking account. Used the app for a call back. They called back and immediately hung up with no response. Second time I called directly on the 1 800 number. The customer service rep knew nothing about the checking accounts. Put on hold for 25 mins. And I hung up. Called back a third time and was on hold after asking for a supervisor. Supervisor got on the line 20 mins later and she never knew anything as well. She couldn't help me as well and wanted me to wait another 35 mins. to speak to sales. Then wanted me to call back tomorrow or go to a branch tomorrow. I waisted over an hour just to get basic questions about opening up a checking account. Never got my answers. I'm done with Huntington now!

Nobody works there. The one in Oregon is a dump. The one in Northwood is a dump. The ATMs never work takes forever to get a teller. It’s a shame. I have to go to an outskirts branch to get anybody with any kind of education what dumps your banks are.

I am in finace and have been for 30 years. I opened an account probably 5 years ago when i moved to Pittsburgh. Never had a problem with them until about 2 1/2 months ago. I could not acces my money for 2 1/2 weeks. I was told it was because Huntington had a paper statement and debit card statement that did not match each other. I called 3 times to get this rectified. Then i had a charge go though of $ 9.86. And then my account was locked again! I am still waiting for 3 weeks for an over payment of $66.66. I was told 10 days ago i would have the refund in 2 to 3 days. When i called after 8 days i was told it would be refunded to my account by the 17th. I have wasted 98 minutes on the phone trying to deal with it. Today when I called i was told the check was in the mail! I talked to a manager that was less than helpful. He was short and rude. I get its only $66.66 but now im operating on pure whats going on with Huntington bank. I want my money on principles now

I had a loan for 12 years and my credit report only has reported one late time in that 12 yrs, yet Huntington charged me 23 different times a late fee, yet never even in 12 years let me know they did that. I got a transaction history week ago before a final payment was to be made and I saw them. Called and on phone today the 15th of July for 53 minutes and all I did was get the run around. They wait to post payments they receive to get charge these extra deceitful payments. No statements and no notifications. This added up to 416.16 in extra fees! I am not late! I mail about 5 mortgage or loan payments out that are all due on the 10th of the month and they all clear my bank account within 2 days of each other, EXCEPT Huntington Bank who is always sometimes week later, which they than quietly charge me late fee and never ever even let me know! THIS IS NOT AN ETHICAL BANK TO DEAL WITH AND BASED ON MANY REVIEWS I HAVE READ THIS IS THEIR PATTERN AND CERTAINLY NOT CUSTOMER ORIENTATED! I wish someone in government would investigate their practices! Monica Thornley

Requested a change for payment date on auto loan was told that after my first payment. The 1st payment was made Requested a 2nd time and again was told the 1st payment needed to be made. Advised the 1st payment had been made. Was verified by in the system payment was made. When payment date wasn't move out a month later I submitted a 3rd request and was told it would be approved as it was confirmed the payment had been made. Today July 14 I noticed the payment was still showing it was due on the 14th and had not been moved out to the requested date. Notified huntington bank again and spoke with what sounded like an AI answer bot. This is not the first time I have talked with an AI bot with Huntington. Requested a supervisor and was put on hold for 12 minutes. Then what sounded like a live person actually picked up the phone to advise it would be a couple more minutes. Then finally got a supervisor who may or may not be AI. Told me that the last request had been submitted 4 days before the due date on the loan which is why it was denied. This makes no sense as 4 or 5 payments have been made. All they had to do is move the payment date out starting the following month after the 1st payment was made. So the supervisor was also useless as I was instructed to call back after I make this months payment. Don't use Huntington to finance a vehicle loan or any loan for that matter. The service is atrocious, I just had no choice at the time due to unforseen circumstances that came up with a vehicle purchase financed elsewhere that turned out to be a defective piece of scrap metal. I was forced to purchase a second used vehicle and ended financing through huntington as it was my only option. Will be refinancing soon through my Credit Union once the other vehicle issue is resolved.

Three weeks after paying off a loan for one of their customers, I have yet to receive my liens release paperwork. They are refusing to send after we paid their loan in full and also stating that the loan has been satisfied to the fullest meaning it’s been paid off. They supposedly do not have a department to talk to regarding your lien or title releasing this place is a joke and if you continue to read the review reviews, you will know why all the same problems do not I repeat do not get along with Huntington Bank.

Held a refund check for soooo long that I got evicted from my apartment! It was a CashApp refund check. Sent by the state. Huntington went above and beyond to guarantee I would become homeless while waiting on a crappy banking process which shouldn’t even be an issue.
