PayPerClose HouseJet is a Scam
I wanted to share my experience with HouseJet PayPerClose because I believe it's important for others to know. Unfortunately, my expectations were not met, and I ended up receiving referral leads that really didn’t lead anywhere. I’ve invested a considerable amount of money into this program and made a genuine effort to make it work. I attended numerous Zoom classes and made many calls—over ten attempts, in fact—reaching out to their referrals. While I didn’t log every single attempt on their website, it was often challenging to do so between driving, spending time in the hospital with my dying husband, and managing my own work. Yet, I was committed to trying because I had high hopes. Regrettably, I found that most of the referrals did not answer my calls. At this point, I felt that I would have had better luck just randomly calling numbers from a phone book! It was disheartening that the leads didn’t even include basic information. On a more positive note, I recently decided to work with a different lead company that charges significantly less. They actually conduct a scrubbing phone call and provide a recording, allowing you to know exactly what the lead is looking for. In just two months with them, I’ve already secured two listing appointments. Unfortunately, my experience with HouseJet PayPerClose left me feeling that they could be viewed as a scam, especially since they don’t even offer partial refunds. I feel compelled to share my story with others because I truly believe people should be aware of this business model. I would like to add that one of the leads they provided that closed on a property was working with a Realtor already when I made contact with her. HouseJet set up 2 appointments which neither showed for the appointment. In September 2024 they without notice stopped sending leads which prompted me to request a refund in November. I signed up with them July 20, 2023 and paid them $1997 plus after the year was up they charge $97 per month. It took them until February 2025 to process my request and deny me.
Response from HouseJetApr 1, 2025
We appreciate you sharing your experience and are sorry to hear that HouseJet did not meet your expectations. Our goal is to provide agents with quality referrals and the tools to help convert them into successful transactions. While lead conversion takes consistent follow-up, we would like to note that our live ISA team provided two booked appointments for you as part of our referral process while still being inactive for a fourth of the year with our program. We have also pulled deed transfer info showing that 1 or more of your referrals closed on homes. We understand that life circumstances can be challenging, and we truly empathize with what you were going through. If there’s anything we can do to assist or clarify, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our support team. We value your feedback and wish you success in your real estate business moving forward.
