Said I’m not Interested and continues to call me over and over wasting my time. I’ve blocked multiple numbers from their company and they continue to call.

WARNING DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
WARNING DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! App is very hard to navigate. They added services that I did not sign up for. Charged my card without my authorization when I called in to cancel they promised to have billing department to call me. Never got a call then they tried to run my card again after cancellation.
Response from Housecall ProMay 27, 2026
Hi Dale! Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We take concerns regarding billing and onboarding seriously, and we’d like to provide additional context regarding your experience.
After reviewing your account history and original onboarding conversation, we found that the services associated with your account were discussed in detail during your sales call. Optional add-ons, including Pipeline and Marketing, were clearly explained, and complimentary trial access was offered so you could evaluate the features before committing long-term. During the call, you agreed to move forward with the subscription and authorized the initial payment.
We also reviewed your comments regarding navigation and usability. During your live demo, you expressed positive feedback about the platform and indicated you were excited to give it a try. We're happy to connect with you or get you connected to the representative assigned to support you at the beginning of your journey to ensure you feel supported and have a good understanding of the platform.
Regarding the billing concerns, our records show that our Retention and Billing teams have worked closely with you to address the matter directly. The disputed balance was cleared, a complimentary subscription time was added to your account, and future billing dates were adjusted as part of the resolution discussed with you. Did you have questions or concerns regarding that experience?
Most importantly, we appreciate your decision to continue giving Housecall Pro an opportunity and allowing us the chance to provide you with a better experience moving forward. We value your business and remain committed to supporting your success.
If you have any additional feedback or concerns, please feel free to reach out to our Pro Advocate team directly at [email protected]. Thank you again!

Terrible company
Horrible company. Overpriced, very deceitful on their pricing plans and how they change your pricing plans without notification. Horrible billing issues. The software seems to have a lot of technical issues also.
I would definitely not use them.
Edit.
Here's an add-on to the response below. They also emailed me and this is what I sent them. They are not transparent or clear. Their customer service basically lies and misleads, and then they go through the scenario of different things not to let you cancel and to keep over charging by playing dumb and shifting blame.
Final Notice: Immediate Subscription Cancellation, Billing Dispute, and Escalation
I am writing to formally log my strong disagreement with your assessment of this situation and to address a persistent lack of transparency and operational integrity regarding your billing practices and customer support. Your support team lies, misleads and shifts blame between each other or departments as a tactic.
I was explicitly told by your team I could pick the plan after the promotion. I was advised it was the $79 plan. When I caught the mistake that your company changed it to the 329. I contacted them was told they apologize and we're going to credit me & change it to the correct one.
To clarify the timeline of events:
• March 2026: I contacted your support team after discovering dual charges of $329. I was explicitly assured by your representative that my account would be downgraded to the lower-tier plan and that a refund would be processed.
• Subsequent Months: Relying on that assurance, I expected the correction to take effect. Instead, I was charged the $329 fee again. When I contacted support a second time, the representative prioritized shifting blame by citing a message your system allegedly sent.
• Systemic Software Failure: I demonstrated in real-time that your platform's messaging system is defective; notifications do not populate on mobile devices, and messages only appear if a user manually digs into the desktop interface. Rather than addressing this technical glitch, the representative disconnected the call, forcing me to restart the queue and explain the issue to a new agent.
• Continued Negligence: Following that interaction, your team attempted the exact same workflow—sending critical account confirmation links through the same broken internal support chat that fails to send external notifications. Had I not manually audited the software, I would have been billed incorrectly yet again.
Now, despite my explicit, verbal, and written directives to fully terminate my account, I am receiving communications stating that my cancellation is "not finalized."
Please be advised of the following:
1. Account Status: Consider this email my third and final notification that my subscription is entirely canceled. Under no circumstances are you authorized to attempt further charges against my payment method.
2. Financial Dispute: Due to your system's technical failures and your team's failure to execute the downgrades promised in March, I am contacting my financial institution to initiate a formal dispute for all overcharges incurred over the last four months. I am also placing a merchant block on your company.
3. Public Advocacy: I have already documented this experience in detailed, negative reviews across Google, Trustpilot, and the Better Business Bureau. I will systematically extend these reviews to Yelp, Angie, Birdeye, Capterra, ConsumerAffairs, and all relevant social media channels, alongside advising my professional network against using your services.
I expect written confirmation within 24 hours that my account has been completely purged from your billing system and that no further automated attempts will be made.
Response from Housecall ProMay 15, 2026
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We reviewed the account history, billing activity, and previous communications to better understand the concerns you mentioned.
From what we reviewed, the promotional pricing for the selected plan was communicated both verbally and through email as a limited-time promotion for the first three months. After that period, the account would then move to the standard pricing for the Max plan, which is one of our higher-tier plans. We also did not see a cancellation request submitted during that timeframe and do see where continued service moving forward was authorized on the account.
We also understand the frustrations mentioned regarding technical issues and platform changes. As a growing company, updates and changes do happen over time as we continue improving the platform, though we understand not every change works perfectly for every business or workflow.
While prior billing and refund requests have already been reviewed by the appropriate teams, we would still absolutely welcome additional feedback regarding your experience and where you feel we could improve communication or service moving forward.
We are sorry to see your business move in a different direction, but we do respect your decision and genuinely wish you continued success moving forward.

Absolute worst company to run your…
Absolute worst company to run your business out of they give you the option to do instant payments for an up charge then they hold your payments for 48 hours and ask you to send copies of your customers, drivers licenses and all types of extra information and then they still charge you the fee Sometimes they hold your money for up to a week avoid using this service at all costs if you’re accompany who needs to receive payments or deposits from customers fast

Hi Dylan,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand how frustrating payout delays can be, especially when they impact your business operations.
To clarify, payment processing and merchant underwriting for Housecall Pro Payments are managed through our secure payment partner, Stripe. In some cases, accounts may undergo automated compliance or verification reviews based on transaction activity patterns or industry-required risk checks. During these reviews, payouts can be temporarily delayed while additional verification is completed.
While these reviews are outside of Housecall Pro’s direct control, we absolutely understand the inconvenience they can cause and want to help ensure your concerns are properly reviewed. Please reach out to our team at [email protected] so we can take a closer look at your experience.
We appreciate your patience and your business.

Housecall PRO Love Affair No More
I used to love Housecall Pro years ago. It was simple, functional, and customer support actually helped solve problems. Now, basic operations feel like a full-time job.
The system has become bloated, overcomplicated, and unreliable for companies that actually need to run real businesses efficiently.
Client search functions are terrible, which results in duplicate customer entries constantly being created. Then comes the nightmare of merging clients — risking lost information and corrupt records. Add the QuickBooks integration into the mix, and accounting becomes a disaster. QuickBooks doesn’t magically clean up the duplicate mess HCP creates.
Our books have become incredibly difficult to manage because of these system failures.
And why, in 2026, can’t we generate proper customer statements showing invoices, payments, open balances, and payment history in a clean, usable format? That’s basic accounting functionality.
The breaking point for us was when Housecall Pro/My Money held over $32,000 in credit card payments from one client. The client showed payment had been made, but the system didn’t reflect it properly. Where was the money? We lost the client over the confusion and lack of support. That cost us real revenue and damaged trust we had built over years.
Customer support used to be accessible. You could call, talk to a knowledgeable person, and get issues resolved. Now users are pushed into endless AI prompts, tutorials, canned responses, and workarounds that waste hours trying to complete simple tasks.
The support reps work very hard, very hard, and get all the negative reviews, which is a shame, because they are navigating through a system with many faults. It is obvious they are left trying to patch over problems in a system that is trying to do too much while failing at the basics. They never complain, but, being in the service industry and based on my experiences with Housecall Pro over the years I can see what is going on. The bad reviews should focus on the real problem, the system problems. This is unfair to the hardworking customer service reps who are often tasked with talking to irate clients who are often at a breaking point, full of frustration. And it is not the customer service reps fault that the system has become so lousy. Seriously, let the blame fall on the problem not those who are actually trying to help sort it all out, while dealing with multiple clients at the same time. Their jobs must be absolutely terrible.
Housecall Pro has become a perfect example of software bloat and planned obsolescence: endless features, endless tutorials, endless automation in an attempt to remove the human factor (which has actually made it worse) while the core functionality businesses actually rely on continues to deteriorate.
Small businesses do not need more complexity. We need systems that work, a company who supports their customer service reps by providing working systems and solutions, not forcing customer service reps to find workarounds for HCP products.
Does HCP even test their products? Don't think so. And listening to client feedback - well, that falls on deaf ears.
Add to the platform, make the money, to hell with the customers and the customer service reps who are working diligently trying to support a company that obviously doesn't care.

Horrible billing problems
Horrible billing problems that they wouldn't resolve. You can only talk to ineffectual gatekeepers for billing issues. Broken promises in the chat. They nicked me for over $400. I'm fighting multiple charges through my credit card company.
Response from Housecall ProMay 12, 2026
We’re really sorry to hear about your experience — we understand how frustrating billing concerns like this can be, especially when it feels like you’re not getting the resolution you need.
After carefully reviewing all of your chats and communication with our team, we can confirm that your concerns were routed to the appropriate teams. At the time, there were some delays due to higher-than-normal volume, and our team did communicate that additional patience was needed while refund requests were being reviewed.
We also see there was a conversation around the add-on for the sales proposal tool, and in an effort to make things right, a $40 credit was applied to your account. Looking back at your account history, you began service in February at a promotional rate of $25, which then transitioned to a standard tiered subscription. As a subscription-based service, billing occurs monthly on the same date, in your case, the 20th. Based on this, charges on March 20th and April 20th included your subscription, the sales proposal tool add-on, and CSR AI.
At this point, it appears you’ve moved forward with disputing the charges through your bank. Once a chargeback is initiated, we’re no longer able to process refunds directly, as the matter is then handled by your financial institution.
We truly regret that this situation didn’t get resolved sooner and understand how frustrating this must be. If you still have questions or would like further clarification, please reach out to us at [[email protected]] we’d be more than happy to help.

Horrible company
Horrible company. We’ve been customers for over four years, and all they’ve ever done is make promises they never keep. They told us they would refund two full months of service as compensation — we still haven’t seen a dime.
Brandon in the Retention department personally assured us he would handle everything. Nothing happened. Simple tasks like onboarding take them weeks. They reschedule or outright cancel events without any notice. Rebecca Perez is the worst — she canceled a scheduled session with our entire team just three minutes before it was supposed to start, leaving everyone waiting with no explanation or apology.
No one ever apologizes. No one shows up to meetings. There’s a complete lack of care from top to bottom.
If you’re reading this, do yourself a favor and go with literally any other company. Housecall Pro’s only goal is to take your money while giving you the absolute bare minimum in return. Save yourself the frustration and the wasted time.
Response from Housecall ProMay 14, 2026
Hello Daveed,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're sorry for the frustration you’ve experienced with your refund, the onboarding process, and the recent scheduling issues with our team. This doesn't reflect the level of service we aim to provide to our long-term partners.
We wanted to mention that we reached out to you on the back end here, a week ago, to request specific account details so we could investigate these claims—including the status of the refund promised by Brandon and the scheduling concerns involving Rebecca. We completely respect that your time is valuable and you are likely very busy, so we wanted to allow ample time for a reply; however, we have not yet received a response.
We are still very eager to dig into this matter and make things right. If you still require support, please contact our team directly at [email protected]. We are ready to investigate this further and ensure your concerns are resolved.

Be Aware When Cancelling Account!
After 3 years, I needed to cancel my account. I was offered a similar product for about $200 less. I put in my cancellation request. I receive and email alter that day that my account is inactive. I was never told that I would loose access to all of my reviews. I was never told anything, they just canceled. Now I need access to certain things to export and am told I would have to re-subscribe. HCP is a joke! I have switched CRMs before and always had at least a month to export all of my data.
Response from Housecall ProMay 8, 2026
Hi Justin,
Thank you for sharing your feedback on your experience. We want to clarify the details regarding your account closure to ensure the timeline is accurately represented.
When you requested to cancel via chat on April 1st, our records show you were advised that your access would remain active through the end of your current billing cycle, which concluded the very next day, April 2nd.
Because we understand the importance of your data, our team made seven separate attempts to reach you that afternoon—including leaving three voicemails—specifically to ensure you had successfully exported your customer history and reviews before the cycle ended. Since we were unable to connect with you, and the paid term expired on the 2nd, the account transitioned to inactive automatically per our standard billing protocols.
We do not want any Pro to feel stuck. While the account is inactive, we are happy to get you the support needed. Please reach out to us at [email protected].
