This is the WORST DECISION you could possible make by getting this time share. You will have FEEs on Everything. They never ends. They will not assist you in getting the ownership resolve. You have been lied to and the lies doesn't stop. I am frustrated that I allowed them to get me into this. I have asked with reasons to be resolved. All were medical reasons. Good luck on exiting.

Fees and Availability
The fees keep increasing and we have no use for the membership. The availability is nothing like we were told. They are not letting us close our account.

This is a nightmare
This is a nightmare. They have consistently overpromised and delivered terrible customer service, and they refuse to release us from our agreement.

I am only giving 1 star because I have to. BUYER BEWARE!!! These people are RUDE! Also, you will get over charged for fees that you didn’t know about/previously agree to. Personally for us what happened was this, we were young and stupid when we thought a timeshare would be a good idea. We decided to get out of our timeshare and were then contacted by the law offices of a team that they used. We have notarized documents saying that if we sign a document signing the property back over to Holiday Inn Club Vacations, so that they can resell it, that the balance on the account would be forgiven and it would be an even trade. Well the property is STILL showing up on our credit reports as an open account saying that we are missing payments. It is hurting our credit and any line of credit we try to get. I thought “okay well maybe they will report it by the first of next month and then it will fall off the account”. I called them to try to see what was going on and the first lady that I spoke with was trying to be helpful but really couldn’t be. She said that we had an outstanding balance of over $200 for some fees and how would we like to take care of that today? I said no. I said I’m calling about the over $2,000 being reported as an outstanding balance on my credit report and I needed to talk to a manager. After the manager got on the phone, he was beyond rude. I explained why I was calling and he said “so what’s your question?” I said “well like I just mentioned I don’t understand why this is being reported as an open account with missed payments when I have documents saying it has been canceled.” He then sarcastically said “The lawyer did explain how a deed in lieu of foreclosure (the document we signed) works right?” I said yes and then he rudely said “good well then you know that this property is set to be auctioned off next month and as such was set to be foreclosed on next month right?” I said “yes that’s why we signed a deed in lieu of foreclosure”. He said “well it’s not going to just fall off of your account.” It’s going to become an inactive account but it will still be on your credit report. Mind you, this whole time he was treating me like I was stupid, talking down to me, and being very sarcastic. I asked him when I could expect the account to close and if it would be reported the first of next month. He then basically started yelling at me and saying it would take multiple billing cycles before it was reported. I asked why because according to my credit report they report every month to them. He then kept yelling and talking down to me telling me that it would take multiple billing cycles because the account was just closed this month. I stopped him immediately and told him not to talk to me like I was stupid and that if I had to get my own lawyers involved, I would. I also told him that if it wasn’t off of my credit report by next month that I would report it as something that wasn’t supposed to be there. Just…good luck with this company. Customer service is seriously not a priority to them. If you are in your golden years and retiring and looking for a fun vacation timeshare, it might be a completely different experience for you. I have no clue. They treat people who go up against them for ANY reason extremely poorly. You really think I’m going to pay fees on an account that’s closed? Oh and then be yelled at and talked down to? Good luck with that. As far as I’m concerned, that manager can go climb a cactus. ✌🏻 God don’t like ugly sir.

Dealing with this timeshare has been a nightmare. They availability and the prices do not add up. They got us into a contract and will not let us out. I would never suggest anyone sign up with them.

I bought a time share through Holiday…
I bought a time share through Holiday inn vacation club this in August. I was told that the 40,000 points I bought was equivalent to 2 weeks of vacations in Vegas where I bought it. He said the 2 bedroom suite I had was 20,000 points for the 8 days we were there. We didn’t use points and had a special offer we got 2 years prior so we didn’t know how many points it actually was. This was last month, I just looked and it’s 131,000 points. That there are over 4400 locations to choose from, nope only 24. You must pay an additional $179 a year to access the other locations through RCI which you still have to pay out of pocket for booking fees, resort fees, parking fees, cleaning fees and some have internet fees. We got the package because of the Portland OR location is our favorite and it’s not even on the list and it’s a holiday inn location. I was told that the membership fee was a 1 time fee, nope, it’s every year. Oh and they tell you can transfer points into the RCI account so they don’t expire, yeah, that’ll cost you an additional $100 for every 100,000 points plus the $179 a year. Maintenance fees, I was told it was based off of how many points you got, nope. They said no black out dates but I just seen their page saying there is black out dates. Don’t do it! Not all timeshares are bad but these people lied to me. I can’t do shit with 40,000, it costs me around $2,400 a year plus maintenance fees.

Disgusted with Holiday Inn Club Vacation
I have attempted to resolve this directly via email and through Horizons, but they refuse to cooperate. The cost of the membership far outweighs any value it actually provides, yet they still refuse to close my account.

We regret ever signing up with them
We regret ever signing up with them. I want to close my account, but they are refusing to cooperate. I even contacted them through their Horizons program to explain that their fees are more expensive than if I simply booked a vacation to anywhere I wanted on my own.
