We were misled into signing a contract that wasn’t properly explained to us. The amount of money they expect us to pay them in perpetuity is no where near the service you receive in return. Their Customer Service has been anything but helpful as well. Stay away from anything Holiday Inn wants you to sign.

My experience with Holiday Inn has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I have made numerous attempts to seek their assistance in ending my timeshare contract, but every interaction has been met with uncooperative and unhelpful responses. Their customer service has failed to provide clear guidance or take any meaningful steps to address my concerns, leaving me feeling completely stuck and unheard. I strongly advise others to steer clear of them, as my experience has been nothing short of a headache and a waste of time.

My experience with the Holiday Inn Vacation Club timeshare has been nothing short of terrible. Despite reaching out to express my dissatisfaction, their response has been minimal and unhelpful. My experience with Silverleaf Resorts has indeed been stressful. We were lured in by an appealing offer of a complimentary 2-to-3-day getaway, contingent on attending a timeshare presentation. What was supposed to be a 3-to-4-hour commitment turned into an all-day affair. During the lengthy presentation, the salesperson promised us a timeshare that would provide year-round vacations at various resorts with excellent amenities. Convinced by these claims, we reluctantly agreed to the purchase and even upgraded our package, believing it would offer enhanced benefits and flexibility. However, it soon became apparent that the reality was far different from what we were sold. Access to the resorts was complicated by numerous restrictions that had never been disclosed. On top of this, unexpected costs continued to arise, making it nearly impossible to understand how to properly use the membership. This has not been a good decision for us, and we hope others make wise decisions when it comes to something like this. Be cautious about working with Silverleaf Resorts.

If I could give a zero rating I would. I wish I never signed anything from Holiday Inn Club Vacations. They are impossible to work with and will not let us out of this contract. They misrepresented what we signed up for on many different levels. They have terrible customer service and no desire to make the customer happy.

I called to confirm a hotel stay at an IHG hotel and they sent me over after to hear about a special they were offering. I was convinced to pay the $250 dollars on the phone for the 3 night stay. I got home and googled the club… there is not a single positive review of this scam. Refund adventure so far…. I called them the same day to cancel the charge. The man on the phone emailed me a different email that I had to email saying that I wanted a refund and why. I then received a different email containing a link to a page that says “you don't have to pay anything unless you sign below.” Under that it says that it’s a cancellation in much smaller letters and you have to sign and submit it. This is the cancellation form! They are blatantly trying to trick you! I read the form and submitted it and got an email saying that now they have 14 days to review my cancellation request. I’m going to call my credit card company as soon as this charge is no longer pending and reverse the charge through them. How is this legal?! Update: They emailed me the next day denying my refund. I called them again and told the man on the phone that their cancellation form (which is meant to confuse and dissuade people) said I had 14 days to cancel from date of purchase and receive a refund 30 days from receipt of the request. I said i wanted to speak to someone about why my refund was denied. He gave me a whole speech and placed me on hold while he pretended to talk to someone from another department. He came back on and said they would be issuing my refund and that they would be sending me another email. Update: Refund received. 3 phone calls, 1 bullshit form and multiple emails later… this company should be sued for fraudulent business practices. Let me know when the class action begins.

My family and I have endured significant emotional and financial hardship due to our experience with Holiday Inn Club Vacations. We were sold the timeshare as a valuable investment, but instead faced rising costs, unavailable bookings, and broken promises. Attempts to resolve these issues, including paying a fee to Timeshares Only to sell the timeshare, brought no help and worsened our financial strain. We feel pressured during the sales process, misled by promises, and wronged by the company's suggestion to pay thousands more to exit the contract. This has been a frustrating and costly mistake, and we caution others to stay away.

Its same IHG club. Do not trust these folks. Its a scam to take your money by offering vacation that is free when you attend a marketing seminar. Too good to be true is too good to be true. Also the extetion that wsa told as free will become chargeable.
