What an absolute unholy nightmare
What an absolute unholy nightmare this has been. I agree with the other reviewers here, they will make you do your own background check and they will ask you to dig up documents from ages ago or which you simply do not have. God forbid you are self employed or work for a small business. I subcontracted and did gig jobs for a few months while I was in school and they are asking me to supply tax documents that do not apply to my employment situation. They say they found that I worked there years ago and gave the dates which correspond to a completely different employer whose name is not in any way similar unless you don't speak english. I do not have a pay stub or 1099 for this last employer because it's not applicable for a gig worker who made under 600 dollars. They have 7years of work history to verify and I am held up because of someone I subcontracted with for a month. I have asked them numerous times to contact my previous employer and they refuse. Also insist that they contacted my school and could not confirm my attendance because they want to make me shell out money for the official transcript. This is their job and now I am having to do it for them. I have to send everything through my recruiter because the company is completely unresponsive. I have zero criminal background, everything I reported about my education and employment was truthful and I cannot speak to a human being to address it. This has been incredibly stressful and is causing my hire date to be pushed back and I am on the edge of a nervous breakdown and I am considering withdrawing from this job offer because this company has been so disrespectful and horrible. Incompetent, don't do their jobs, this company is a scam and if I am denied a job due to their incompetence I will sue. Your company is shameful and playing games with people's livlihoods in a terrible desperate economy and you should be embarrassed. Worthless pathetic human beings run this company. If your employer uses them for background check consider rejecting the offer. Edit: sending canned boiler plate responses is proof that you didn't listen to the clients complaints. I have given key documents and contact information for the employer. I maintain a good relationship with this employer and was in a position to ask if he had been contacted at his phone number or email and he confirmed that he had not. I uploaded the documents I had available and reiterated that you need to make some effort, any effort at all, to contact this employer who is *expecting* to be contacted for a reference. You have completely failed to exert even the slightest amount of effort. I am in contact with my onboarding specialist with HR who has told me that her department increasingly disregards the results of their reports and have had numerous meetings with your company to address how unhappy they are with your performance. The human resources team at this company is disappointed and I doubt they will renew a contract with you. I see that your company has had to pay out to the tune of tens of millions of dollars in class action lawsuits due to your failure to report accurate information There is no excuse for you
