Worst experience ever.
You get the run around all the time.
There is no follow up.
There is NO support.
When it's time for a refill, you can't get anyone to respond or listen to you.
You are told one thing and it doesn't happen.
I would NEVER EVER recommend them.
I am stuck with them for the rest of the year, and that WAY WAY too long.

Oscar pets is absolutely the worst…
Oscar pets is absolutely the worst experience of my entire life (i have gone through some traumatic experiences) i would rather die than give my pet poison than this awfulness. it made my dog depressed and hide until it was dragged out to eat but refused every time and then it threw it all up(no it doesn't have any medical issues). fetch is a much better alternative that turned teddys frown upside down.

I am very unhappy with Oscar for these…
I am very unhappy with Oscar for these reason. Pass this along, because I will make sure more organizations are aware of how Oscar treated me with my health issue....
4/14- 5/6 - Remicade was requested and submitted as buy and bill option so benefits were checked as well at this time. Oscar came back and said they wanted Inflectra and not Remicade and that it now needed to be converted to pharmacy benefits , meaning it would be run under your pharmacy benefits.
6/6/22 - inflectra denied
7/14-9/9- we have not heard anything from Oscar so at this point we started Orencia injection and this was approved and you started this.
10/24- visit with provider and Orencia was not working so we went back to trying for inflectra
11/11- per billing manager allow at least 7 business days for authorization decision. At this point we knew your copay would 67.50 per infusion with your copay card from Janssen company.
12/3- denial letter came through for Remicade again stating you needed to try inflectra
12/9- I called Oscar and gave a verbal pa over the phone for inflectra. notes were faxed as well multiple times to them per Oscar to fax to 844-965-9053, and label it to "clinical review team".
1/5/23 - still nothing from Oscar so at this point we sent the rx for inflectra to CVS to see if they would send the medication and or flag a pa and fax it over to us but still nothing.
I terminated their service, my condition has worsened, they didn't care what I'm going through.

This company is very much a SCAM
This company is very much a SCAM! I received a recent claim on my account for a telephone care service. After a couple of months, they say, "It looks like you received care from a provider outside the Oscar network, so the care you received with them isn't covered by your plan." Now I DO NOT UNDERSTAND THIS! I used Oscar's own platform to connect with the telecare service. It was OSCAR who matched me with the physician. How come the doctor they matched me with on their platform is out of their network? OSCAR SERIOUSLY FAILED! THEY SHOULD PAY FOR THIS!

Denials and neglect - that’s all I get
This insurance is just a nightmare! For once I had rotator cuff and bicep surgery in November. In May I had meniscus surgery, but it failed. I struggle walking. As I started physical therapy, I received a notice of denial shortly after the end of the year 2022. It was not properly specified, and I had eight sessions for my leg and six sessions for my arm. After rotator cuff surgery you need physical therapy for 3 to 4 month minimum. I learnt later that the insurance made a mistake and thought I would not have coverage for them. Finally a letter dated January 4, 2023 reversed the denial. But I received the letter on January 17, 2023. It stated I was approved for the period December 7, 2022 through January 31, 2023. So that gave me 13 days left once I received the letter. I am now having three sessions until I run out of it. Yes, three sessions, which is pretty much useless. yesterday I received another notice, another denial. My previous physical therapy had applied for more physical therapy until March 30, 2023. The denial stated the findings don’t support the need for physical therapy. Further on in another section, it stated that it seems like a duplicate.
Physical therapy does not reevaluate until you have at least 12 sessions. I never got them, because it was denied!
I presume my old physical therapy send the original first evaluation again. They have nothing else, and I cannot make much improvement after six or eight patients. What do they expect!
Since I changed the physical therapy place, they evaluated me Thursday and I hope they will get more therapy, but I have my doubt after all what I went through.
We are also still fighting for another MRI for my foot.
Now comes the best part! The doctor was trying to get injections for my knee, which is completely shot and I will need knee replacement, but we’re trying to delay it.
The injections were denied - among the reasons/ suggestions : I should try PT therapy!!!! Well, give it to me - I want it so badly!
While I have a lot of issues, so far I get denied pretty much everything - I am being neglected! I might be forced to apply for disability because of a miserable uncaring insurance!!!

Don’t waste any money on getting this health insurance cs you will end up paying cash for most things anyways.

Oscar is literally the worst health…
Oscar is literally the worst health insurance company I've ever had.
Not only did they not cover my claim for an emergency ambulance ride, they lied and said they were covering a portion of it. Not one but SIX DIFFERENT PEOPLE there lied to me on their chat stating they were going to pay some or all of this bill. Then, a full year and four months after the service they deleted my claim and created a NEW CLAIM just so they could deny that one. Of course my appeal was denied. Very shady and useless company, will never use them or any affiliates of theirs ever again. Scammers and thieves, that's Oscar.
