Absolutely horrible. These people don't care about helping anything but their profit margins. The app is constantly broken no matter how much you try to report, so you can't contact your doctor half the time. They ignore refill requests, don't care if medication that THEIR DOCTOR PRESCRIBED runs out, refuse to cover things despite having everything required, and like to run right against the line of felonies with how they treat people. Avoid them at every cost.

This company is terrible. They auto-enrolled me in a plan that I didn't want this year and have now charged me twice without my consent. They also hit me with a $8,000 dollar bill after a hospital stay. The worst is that you can't speak with a human being if you try to get into contact with them. There is no way to message their administrators and their phone answering machine is an endless loop of unhelpful automated messages.

My son had an Oscar plan. He was told by an employee that if he wanted to renew, just fill out his yearly info on the marketplace and his insurance would only be a couple dollars more upon renewal. They sent him a card showing his plan and zero copays. Then he gets a bill for several hundred dollars. When we called,we asked for a supervisor. She refused to give us a supervisor. We had a hard time understanding her. She kept saying you need to call the marketplace. I told her we were calling about what Oscars employee said to us and again asked for a supervisor. She said she would do a three way call with the marketplace but all she did was transfer us. Terrible customer service. First hire employees that have a good grasp of English. But when a customer asks to speak to a supervisor you should be given a supervisor not lied too and transferred so you don’t have to deal with it. Never again.

When I scanned the qr code on the card they sent me it took me to a China shopping website.

Overall 2023 experience. Good insurance for PCP. If you want a specialist, forget it in the DFW area. I have paid out of pocket for specialist. For meds... I have found that goodrx is better along with the kroger plan.

Worst insurance company ever. DO NOT BUY!! They deny every claim and then if they do pay it's very little.

I deal with medical claims at a doctor's office...Oscar is the worst company I have dealt with in 30 years of insurance filing and billing. Customer service which is of course outsourced to Asia (like many others) is a joke! They take information, give you escalation numbers ..and that is where it stops. Calling back 5 times over a course of months to find out nothing has been done...they then give you another escalation number! This company needs to go away..as I expect it will. As a consumer...don't waste your money.. medical doctors and other providers will start dropping off the plan as they do not pay their claims. Another lousy Obama plan that can't make it.
