Transparency or provider assistance is not there term. As a contracted provider we attempted to update 1 location learned they NEVER provide any reference information for the contracting area and the rosters have to be completed 3-4 different formats for the same information. If you plan to join the network don't allow the average 90 days because they do not care.

Oscar Health is the very worst Health Insurance I have had in forty five years of coverage from the early 1980’s to current. They will take your premiums but cover nothing.

The worst health insurance for a diabetic. They lie and say they cover shit they dont cover. No one has a real answer and they should just shut this insurance down completely.

Oscar is an absolute joke. They dont cover things that should be. Their on call team does absolutely nothing. Their pcps are a waste of time. I would not recommend this insurance company to anyone.

Do not bother. This is the worst insurance company I’ve ever dealt with. Most the doctors have no availability and some of them aren’t actually taking the insurance anymore. The website is trash as is the customer service. I’ve ended up paying out-of-pocket to go to urgent care. Edited to add: in the interest of transparency and fairness, a care specialist reached out to me after seeing this review and helped me set up an appointment with a doctor.

This is my first year with Oscar, and the claims and customer service experience has been awful. My longtime gynecologist saw me on July 22, 2026. My PCP saw me two days later, on July 24. Oscar received the PCP’s claim first, paid it as a preventive visit, and denied my gynecologist’s preventive claim—even though my gynecologist provided care first. Oscar’s Explanation of Benefits says I owe $420.75. I paid $165 to my gynecologist’s office while trying to keep the account from going to collections. I called Oscar on September 18. Randy opened an escalation and told me to expect a resolution in 24–72 hours. When I followed up on September 29, Michelle V. told me Oscar was standing by its decision. I still had not received an explanation that addressed the actual dates of care or why claim receipt order should determine which preventive visit is covered. I should not have to fight this hard to get a clear, evidence-based explanation of a denied claim. I am filing a formal grievance and appeal. So far, my first year with Oscar has been deeply frustrating.

These people are calling non stop with junk / spam calls likely using automated robots. I have politely requested them to add me to Do Not Call List, but still non stop calls have been coming. I am hoping someone up the chain at the company will read this review.

Totalmente decepcionado de este Seguro q además es muy costoso, me cambié de Florida blue para Oscar y cometí el error mas grande de mi vida,no quieren cubrir medicamentos caros y al sacar la cuenta con lo q le pago a estw seguro puedo adquirir mis medicamentos sin necesidad de tenerlo como intermediario.No lo recomienfo a nadie.
