i CANNOT believe im seeing these reviews. Oscar is the best thing that's happened to insurance! They have a great website, online chat to open up tickets (no more spending hours on the phone) totally responsive and always following through. Doctors seem to love them also (my doctor told me they wont accept blue shield anymore as they take too long to pay out and suggested i switch) best move i have ever made!

Absolutely terrible , took me forever to convince them to get me an MRI for sciatica and i still had to pay a chunk of it. i'm 45, healthy and somehow pay $500 almost a month for health insurance with them and couldn't get them to approve a measly MRI easily

I've had 3 eye surgeries and they refused to pay. I'm hiring a lawyer to sue them.

Getting claims covered is a fight every single time. When you call the service number, approximately 50% of the time it hangs up on you either between transfers or while on hold. The benefits dept is unable to consistently explain benefits. One person says it's covered and another says it isn't. I have had to roll through insurance companies as employer programs change and now have to go through marketplace and purchased insurance with Oscar. I have never had to spend so time back and forth on the phone with insurance. Worst company ever!!

This company should not even be allowed to operate. It's a complete sham and scam. They're happy to collect your premiums but charge for every test that should completely be covered by an annual physical and will not approve absolutely needed medications that other insurers have already approved. Their online message must be either answered by bots or people who completely have no idea how to answer health related or billing issues. they ignore you and brush you off with ridiculous answers. STAY AWAY!

Listen just don't bother really with these people, they will not cover anything, I mean nothing no medications no labs nothing they will also charge your account multiple times for the monthly premium leaving your account overdrafted and they will not help vou resolve any problems you may have, they never have an answers to anv guestions whatsoever. I am honestly flabbergasted they still a running company, terrible services being barely provided, terrible customer service I mean I am just in shocked. I rather have no insurance than to have Oscar insurance. Asking for itemized bill from all my providers from today on.

This is the absolutely Worst healthcare insurance you can have. First thing is i had them for a whole year, and i have started getting bills up to 8,000 saying i owe them yet it says oscar has paid ZERO of their part. No wonder i was only able to go to physical therapy at brooks rehabilitation center for only 2 weeks. As i remembered being told by them they no longer take Oscar, since they haven't paid them in over 8 months!! But it gets even better...Oscar fraudulently charged my credit card 3 times,when i no longer had them anymore. I even contacted them and they acted like it wasnt them,it was my credit card company. Needless to say they had to block Oscar....STAY AWAY!!!!!
