Terrible service, pessimistic doctors, HORRIBLE HEALTH PLAN! I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE, IT'S A PIECE OF GARBAGE! Returning to Etna, where I should never have left.

Oscar is a terrible insurance company and is not upfront about what they cover and what they don't. They have several doctors listed that are in their network but are not. My latest experience is that I needed to get a simple in-office procedure but Oscar requires the procedure be done at a hospital, so while other patients go to their doctor and have this resolved quickly, I will have to go to hospital under general anesthesia and will have to pay several thousand dollars out-of-pocket because of Oscar's policy on this. The minute open enrollment opens, I'm switching. Every medical experience I've had this year shines a light on something new about this terrible company.

The technician didn’t arrive and canceled the service. Despite the inconvenience, since I had been expecting the service, they only refunded 50% of the amount I paid. Unfortunately, I came across this page only after my experience and discovered similar feedback from friends. The company doesn’t seem to care if their technicians use the service to cheat clients. They even claimed it was my fault for not being available, though I called the technician for 30 minutes. He answered the call but didn’t say anything.

Review: Oscar Health Insurance is the worst insurance company out there. I underwent a corneal procedure where I was at risk of losing my vision. I spoke with Oscar representatives more than 10 times and the told me and the doctor the procedure was covered. However, after the procedure was done, they refused to cover it, claiming it was “experimental.” This is a procedure that has been FDA-approved for over 10 years. If you’ve experienced a similar situation, please contact me. I am gathering people for a class-action lawsuit against Oscar Health Insurance.
