I paid for the offer and then immediately paid for an upgrade instead but just recently realized I was charged for both.

Thanks for sharing with us! Your upgrade was an add-on to the original purchase, and processed as an additional transaction. Thanks for being a HelloVacay member!

59% off a hotel in San Francisco? Yes, please. Thank you HelloVacay. I appreciate the easier-to-use booking app and the private hotel savings. Can't wait to try my airport lounge access on my next trip.

Update: 2025 DelayVacay no longer exists. Money wasted. 0x used. Cheaper to use Priority Pass. 2023 I liked this kind of service. As a frequent flyer with a lifetime subscription, I was confident that if something happened, I would be covered. But there was a big but. It tracked delays using FlightStats data, which are not always accurate. For example, if you're flying from Krakow and you see Flightradar showing a 1-hour delay, and the airport timetable confirms it, but FlightStats shows nothing — it's disappointing. So for now, I wasn't satisfied. Hopefully, one day I’ll be able to use this kind of service effectively.

I would not recommend hello vacay as they failed to deliver the vouchers. My flight was delayed Oct 12 and received the voucher on Oct 15 after I left the airport and expired in 24 hrs. That tells you they are huge scam and you will be disappointed. Please see attached my travel date Oct 12 and the voucher receipt Oct 15. Biggest scam. Plus they refused to refund me. I paid $99 upgraded fee. Look at all the reviews they had almost everyone had issues with not getting vouchers on time. They take ur money and lots of excuses

I purchased one year subscription, and then extended that to lifetime. I was initially satisfied with the service - I obtained a voucher for one of my delayed flights (after prompting customer service as vendor's system had not recognized a delay automatically). I have even shared my positive experience at my travel blog. After registering 20+ flights in 2024 for which I already have my tickets, my account was suspended with no explanation. I sent three messages for assistance. All remained unanswered. It appears like when they understand you're a frequent flyer and their model is not profitable, they suspend your account and do not refund you.

Hello Lukasz, your membership was suspended due to a violation of our terms of use. VacayDelay is designed for an individual traveler to register their personal ticketed flights, and additional friends/family traveling on the same flight can be added as additional passengers on the registration. Your account suspension was due to either signs of non-ticketed flights or flights registered under the name of another person. Here at HelloVacay, we love travel and frequent travelers, and require that the terms of use are followed.

I purchased the $29/year plan and wasn't sure if the program would work, but since I travel frequently, I thought the $29 investment would pay for itself in just one use. Several weeks went by with on time departures and then 3 flights all in one week were delayed and I immediately received lounge vouchers for each delayed flight in my email. I had no problem showing the QR code at check in, and received all the same benefits as a paid lounge guest. I have already recommended the program to friends and coworkers. It sounded too good to be true, but it works! Happy to report I am now a lifetime member.

We understand that an account suspension can be frustrating. VacayDelay is designed as a program for members to register their personal ticketed flights. In order to maintain successful relationships with our lounge partners, we strictly enforce the policy in our terms of use requiring that only ticketed flights are registered. In the follow-up email that was sent to you yesterday, we provided a list of the specific flights that were of concern. If you were ticketed on all of the flights, please send us your ticketing information and we would be happy to re-evaluate your account suspension.
