I bought a product that was "removed" after few uses. whilst the service worked as bought once, it was wonderful! Now to the harsh reality: Changing the content of a sold service is unacceptable and it feels like being scammed. The new program may be nice, but I bought a subscription to access airport lounges for free whilst my flight is delayed - not a service that "enables" me to spend $40 for every time I want to access a lounge.

I bought a Lifetime membership to VacayDelay in August 2023. I was able to sign up for my flights and one time received a lounge pass (which was too far from my gate to use). Recently they changed all memberships to HelloVacay, they have been promising for months now that they will have some sort of benefits for lounges called HelloLounge, but as of right now there is zero use of having this membership. What is even more funny is since I already registered my flights, it has been emailing me for my current trips and even emailed me May 7 to say my flight left on time when it did not and I was not sent a voucher. So far, I have received no benefit for the $128 fee I paid. I would stop short of calling it a scam, because I don't think they meant for this to happen, but would say they very much over-promised and under-delivered. And, their communication is TERRIBLE, basically Zero or incorrect.

Hi Julia, thank you for your being so candid with your feedback. You were correct in saying that we did not mean for VacayDelay to be removed from our memberships. Unfortunately, a massive and unexpected vendor change prevented us from continuing to offer new flight registrations. Flights that were already registered with us before the vendor change are tracked in order to provide flight vouchers during delays; we are sorry to hear that one did not arrive during your delay! We have been working hard to finalize the launch of additional membership benefits. We hope that your experience with us becomes a positive one as we move into the future. I paid for the offer and then immediately paid for an upgrade instead but just recently realized I was charged for both.

The vouchers could be valid for a few months and for all airports, so we could actually use them. Our flight was delayed firstly by 20 mins,then when we were already at gate, it got delayed by 45,70 mins. So we got the vouchers but we didnt have time to use it- we couldnt leave the gate as we didnt have enough time.

I was shocked that my delay at LAX allied access not to any real lounges but a video Game Center and a logistically inaccessible spa. The video lounge offered only a bag of nuts, soda and one hour only if access. This is one of the busiest airports in the world that that’s the extent of your lounges???? You really need to do better

whenever my flights are on time, they send an email wishing me a nice journey, BUT the one time my flight was cancelled I did not hear a word (and the flight shows as on time in their system)

Our program currently offers lounge vouchers only for flights delayed by an hour or more, and not for cancelled flights. In the event of being rescheduled onto another flight, we recommend registering the new flight number on our website so we can track it for you. We hope that the rest of your journey went smoothly.
