Our experience with Online orders with store pick up have been good. Items such as meet and vegetables where we don’t see what they had to choose from can’t fault the folks filling the orders.
I worked grocery during my high school and first 2 college years so I base my store experience (customer service cleanliness and presentation) based on what my managers expected of me in the late 70s and early 80s and the 2 HEB stores we shop at do well.
I am happy that our HEBs have plenty of cashiers with only a few self checkouts so exiting is quick.

Extremely poor meat products
Received a 15 lb brisket with 9 lbs of intermuscular fat, which is non renderable. HEB selling it as Prime brisket, lol. After I properly butchered out the fat, I have 6 flank steaks. HEB not interested in refunding because I purchased it through Instacart delivery. They won't take responsibility either. Shouldn't have trusted someone else to pick out a brisket. I never would have bought this worthless POS. Too bad I can't post pics, you'd be shocked.

HEB is becoming a victim of their own success.
Because HEB has the market on groceries, they are discontinuing many name brand products. HEB has items to compete, but the quality is not as good.
Walmart does carry those items. That is where my business will go. It is sad as HEB does a lot for the community, they will surely loose alot of business, because I will not spend my hard earned money on second best.

Meyerberg 64 oz goat milk…
I normally buy Meyerberg 64 oz goat milk at HEB. Lately I have found out that the same brand is sold at Randalls for $2.26 less.

Something I want to Say
My experience has never been anything but great. I shop at HEB every day. For me, it’s like going to my own personal refrigerator.😊 This is because it’s so fresh and i love fresh soup that gets the appetite settled far cheaper than eating out everyday. Wonderful cashiers and wonderful food servers and tasting cooks. Some of their names that are cashiers are Sonia, Delores, the managers, the cell repair man, the wonderful ladies in the bakery, the helpful managers in the Red shirts, the janitor, Earnest, the security officer, the wonderful young men and women that work the HEB delivery load-up at the store. I love the way HEB tries to provide everything in the nut dept. this is my experience at the 10919 Louetta store. Located at Louetta and hwy 249 in houston TX in case you want to experience this wonderful store. Oh and I must say something about the wonderful company that delivers for HEB. Fair prices and and thoughtful distance in neighborhoods. I also love the way the employees work together as a team. Even the very busy pharmacy techs and and the guys that bring in the baskets with the straps as they pull the baskets back into the store for our use. I’ve NEVER been so impressed by a store as I have at MY HEB. By that I mean the one in my neighborhood. Sometimes my husband will sing as he shops down the aisles. He absolutely loves talking and laughing with the different employees. Why is this? Because of two reasons that I can see. Those two reasons appear to be because , if you show yourself friendly, then great employees will probably show you the same friendliness. Somebody at the Loretta store has gotten a great crop of employees and I for one really appreciate the HEB where I shop.

On August the 8th in Elgin Texas
On August the 8th in Elgin Texas, I went to H-E-B grocery store to cash a check. Normally I don't even deal with H-E-B because they're just so racist and they held true to their standards. Cashier's check from a major Bank which is a Nations Bank the woman behind the counter heavyset white woman begin to question. As if I'm a criminal and she was a police officer, keep in mind I'm 63 years old dealing with a woman with a very racist attitude she continue to ask me questions that weren't even related to me cashing a check, finally I asked to speak to a manager she walked away slammed the door so hard to Glass almost broke, a course to manager he comes to and I said look I need an apology for the way that this woman talk to me never got an apology and he wouldn't cash the check either some , some crazy reason he didn't even look at the check and like I said it's a Nationwide Bank which is in Texas , I would like a apology, and I told the manager I wanted an apology. But you know the thing with racist people they feel that they don't waste have to apologize for anything, it's their American Way. I've shopped in that store before and stop shopping and it because of their attitudes the demeanor there are rudeness just you name it yes. And yes I am a Afro-American. And yes the racism is , off the chain and Americans continue to get away with it, I would like an apology

Really bad experience.
I have never had a bad experience at an HEB. But I did today. I tried to redeem 3 glass gallon milk jugs. One was from a different milk producer but I bought it at the HEB in Waxahachie.
Ashley and Alyson at the Ennis HEB wouldn’t accept it. Even tho I bought it at HEB.
Then Ashley was exceedingly rude.
She should be fired
