I am a provider with Headway and have been for about a year. I absolutely love what I do as a therapist, but the administrative tasks of managing a solo practice can be daunting. Headway's reimbursement rates are significantly higher than other similar third-party billing services. The platform is easy to use. My prospective clients and I appreciate real-time benefits verification.

As a provider with Headway for the last 7 months this companies customer service is absolutely atrocious. For the last month myself and another provider at our group practice have not received our insurance payouts from Headway. We have made multiple attempts daily to contact Headway through headway. co/ contact with no help or support. There is no direct phone number. Headway has made multiple unmet promises of calling us to resolve the problem. We wait daily and still have received no phone call. From one provider to another, do not use this company! We refuse to make our clients pay for Headways unethical business practices and hope they will have the decency to fix this.

Headway has been very helpful to me in growing my solo private practice. I appreciate how it increases client's access to services while at the same time, take a huge administrative burden off of my plate. My experience with Headway has been mostly smooth. Sometimes the insurance verification has been glitchy and the tech support sometimes took a while to respond, but I understand they are working on this. I would love if they could contract with NC Medicaid, but I know that might be a pipe dream.

Headway has been so helpful to my practice! The credentialling process is easy and I am so glad I can offer my clients the option of using insurance. I love that Headway handles all my billing and paying me twice a month by direct deposit is an easy process. They are reliable and answer any questions I have promptly. I am also listed in their directory and have gotten a few referrals from them.

I am a provider that works with Headway. I have loved every minute of if. I've always wanted to go into private practice but the fear of dealing with billing has always made me steer clear of it. Headway has made that possible for me and I don't have to worry about payouts. I have been with Headway for a year, two payouts have been delayed but Headway done a good job with communicating the issues and keeping us updated while they remedied the issue. I have read a lot of reviews about Headway and their methods of profiting from their business. I think the biggest thing to pay attention to is all of the things they take care of on the back end for you. In a year, I've never had to deal with processing claims nor have I had to deal with a claim getting returned or not getting paid in a decent timeframe and for that I'm extremely thankful.

Headway has been very responsive when I have had a question or concern. I have reached out multiple times for different reasons and they always get back to me very quickly.

I have been with Headway for the past year and a half and it has been a complete Godsend for my practice. The rates they negotiated are 2 1/2 times more than the hourly rate I was making, and that coupled a marketing service like Zocdoc allowed me to completely fill up my private practice in 1 month. The clients schedule themselves through the app and billing is completely effortless and seamless. I am able to bill for all my patients for the day in about 3 minutes. Patients are able to register in the Headway system in about 5 minutes, and get email reminders the day before their appointment. The only improvement that I have for Headway would be to find a way to bill for all the states that I am licensed in as opposed to just one state. It is both an incredible win for clinicians in terms of pay and taking care of all the administration, as well as making healthcare much more accessible to patients as prior to Headway I did not accept insurance in my practice as it was too onerous.

I was always leery of starting my own counseling practice because of the business aspect I would have to deal with. Headway made it so easy for me to start because they take that undesirable part of the business away- insurance credentialing, billing, and payment. Instead of stressing over billing and payments, I can focus my energy on treating my patients and providing them with the best quality of care.
