Headway has been a nightmare I had four sessions with them they were over changing me. My co pay for my insurance was supposed to be 20 I didn't find out till after I was four sessions in and they were charging me $40 a session. My therapist Rebecca lending would not give me their contact information. There is no way to contact them it was a back and forth between them and my therapist. They said they had reached out to my insurance company and confirmed my co pay but when I called the insurance company they said they had never had any correspondence with headway. I tried to dispute the charges with my bank and got a temporary refund and had to cancel my card but then they some how got my new card information and charged me again. They still owe me $80. Now 3 months later they have charged me an additional $74 and $98 dollars a session which I never authorize. Please if your considering headway just don't it would be better for your mental state.

I scheduled an appointment with a provider, Rena Miller . She never called me at the scheduled time after I moved around my work schedule and left my office to take this call. I followed up after 5 minutes after the session via email to ask her if she will be joining. I received no response. I then called Headway, unable to reach anyone. I then emailed Headway. Took so many days to reply to me, with no solution, and putting it back on me. Super weird, unprofessional, off-putting.

Mostly good - credentialing goes smoothly and headway keeps me informed of new insurers all the time, have had difficulty with attaching my calendar to headway calendar even though I have followed the directions and gone through the steps to connect them methodically at least twice! To no avail.

Horrible horrible service. Takes FOREVER for a response and I have had many many more issues.

Company is great with their response times and helping the clinician with trouble shooting. It may not be the next day but I know they’ll eventually complete the ticket.

Headway was billing my insurance company almost 3x what my therapist would have charged had I just paid out of pocket. I did not notice this however until I changed my insurer and my cost per session skyrocketed. I have repeatedly asked Headway for an explanation of the charges, but they keep pointing to my insurer, who then points back to Headway. There is no phone number to call. Email responses take a day or two. This is a legal scam that most will not notice if they only pay their copay for each appointment. Use another service. I am filing a grievance with my insurer to try to be reimbursed for what I feel is an overcharge.

They did not submit 5 out of my 7 visits that occurred in a two month visit to my insurance until I reached out to them. I would have hit my deductible if these claims were processed on time. It turns out they had never sent these claims for approval. Even after my conversation with them explaining that 5 claims were missing, they only sent one to my insurance. I had to reach out a second time to remind them. Only one more claim was sent. I am contacting them for a third time in a month to submit my remaining 3 claims.

These guys are the absolute worst would not recommend them at all. Good luck getting a hold of them over the phone. Someone rear ended me from the back and called them and sent over all the evidence. The following week got an email saying they'll no longer insure me. Stay clear.
