I recently purchased an item that required me to put it together. As I neared completion, I realized that I was 8 nut and bolt combinations short. I went back to HF, told them of my problem, and the manager on duty immediately resolved the problem. I did not give 5 stars because some products are poorly made, and don’t hold up. But for the prices we should not expect the same level of quality as high end, professional level gear. For my purposes I am very well satisfied with the items I purchase at HF.

most items are for single use only. wouldn't dream of buying these tools for any longevity. unless you use the crap out of it and dont care to has a third of a life like a Honda generator RIP off. or you always lose a 8mm wrench, just buy ten of em and you good to go for a while but mostly junk, like the modern american prefab house that stills manages to be uneven without settling.

Do not buy gas items like water pump gen set or anything else, they do not return even when it does start, you are on your own, money out of pocket your problem, store sends you out the door with NO HELP IT IS ON YOU

I love Harbor Frieght, BUT, I ask an employee if a particular multimeter would Measure down to 1ohm. He said NO. I bought it anyway and it measures down to 1ohm and below. He actually did not know and simply guessed. And guessed WRONG. If one of my employees did that to one of my customers. They would be FIRED.

Do not buy a 25 Ft. Drain Cleaner With Drill Attachment at Harbor Freight unless you love being punished! Buy this tool if you love punishment! You are guaranteed to love it! It will break apart the first time you use it, and you will cherish the moment, remembering forever how " truly great" it is, and you will lust after it for more! My drain snake broke apart on it's first use just like another reviewer! The 2nd picture shows the snake put back inside of the unit in reverse to seal it's fate with the snake fully pushed inside of it (using a pen), and duct tape over the hole to prevent the snake from dangerously leaving the device ever again (to prevent a freak accident)! - Order # 4413635 After this experience I went to Home Depot and bought a really and great tool called: RIDGID PowerSpin Plus This tool works exceptionally well, and there is a cheaper model that you can't use a drill with called: RIDGID KwikSpin+ 1/4 in. x 25 ft. Auger Disclaimer: My 1 star across the board rating applies only to this product! For the record, almost all Harbor Freight Tools are great quality tools except for 3 things I bought over there which accounts for ~1% of what they sell from what I know! Employees at the stores do not care if a product is bad, and 1% of their products are awful, and worth avoiding!

I purchase alot of tool at harbor freight, I'm a 30year +Body man and have an Auto Detailing business as well. I'm glad to have a harbor freight store close (1hour) for convenience and great prices on fairly decent quality tools. BUT..... I have never in my life seen this level of bad customer service. If someone in your line has a return or some issue, you could be the next in line and still wait 30min to be waited on. They provide no customer service desk to handle issues away from the check out line. And the cashier have to answer phones while trying to handle everything else. I'm at the store sometimes twice a week and I have been the only one at the check out line and still wait way to long. I am very unhappy and unsatisfied with the poor management policies

I purchased several electric items from HF. I bought a 5 ton wood splitter and a air compressor. The wood splitter went out the end of the first year. The compressor less than 6 months. I did not have a service replacement contract and when I went looking for a repair facility..no such luck. Nobody wanted to mess with it. So, here I am with worthless stuff from HF. My recommendation, don't buy anything from HF without a service agreement. Better yet, don't buy at all!

I shop at your store in Farmington mo.63640 at least twice a week sometimes buy nothing but most times always purchase something.Returned an item for the first time and was charged $33 restocking fee,thats robbery I could of walked it back to the shelf myself for $33,you have lost a valuable customer and as Farmington is a tight little community I will be sure and get the word out about this through friends ,church,work and social media!!!
