I went into a Harbor Freight on Plainfield Ave in Grand Rapids MI today. I actually loved this store until today. The prices and tools over the years have been awesome, but today just turned me over to Amazon. The employee's were way less than helpful, when I went to checkout a manager made a lasting impression on me. I had about a $1000 in stuff I wanted to buy and had 3 slips for bigger items. When an associate was asked to help retrieve these things he was an arrogant ass. I'm normally a calm guy, but the way this guy spoke to me and carried himself made me want to knock his head off. I took my business elsewhere. Sorry Harbor Freight, but if you continue to hire people like the ones I encountered today I will never spend a dollar in your stores again. Makes me sick that people think that customer service isn't important at all, and its no wonder that everyone would rather shop online.

I ordered pato lights 4.5 weeks ago. No way to track shipment. I sent 3 emails to them and they gave me a canned standard email that they are processing. Their based out of California and my guess those folks are at home not working. I WILL NEVER BUY ONLINE AGAIN.

I placed this order no April 12. However, It have not been shipped yet after more than one month. I tried to contact the customer by emails several times but got the exact same replies every times to say "...If you emailed us about Order Status, we are sorry that your order had not yet shipped at the time of your email. We want to assure you that we have been working to fulfill all orders as quickly as possible, an will send an email confirmation as soon ans the item(s) ship....". I also tried to call them but there is always nobody answer the phone. I finally talked to a representative two weeks ago and was told that the order would be shipped in the week and I will receive a shipping notice with tracking number via email. Two weeks passed again, I received nothing. I tried to call the customer service today. After more than half hour waiting, I was told my order has been cancelled be cause they don't have any in stock! So far, I didn't receive any notice for the cancellation. I used to shopping online for many years but never have the terrible experience like this. It is an unreliable merchant. I won't order anything from them again!

Ordered a tablesaw on April 29 and it’s still pending I can’t get a hold of nobody every time I call the one 800 number I get hung up on I called the local store and they tell me oh call the one 800 number this is bull crap money on hold somewhere never again will I buy or order from this company

Do not place a order online with this company, worst experience I've ever had. My order has been pending for almost 2 weeks, and I actually called them two days after placing the order and asked them to cancel my order. They claimed they sent a notice to their warehouse to have them cancel, but that never happened. I called back and spoke to a Manager and he was very unprofessional and rude, and he stated he would attempt to have my order canceled, but wouldn't specify exactly how he planned to do to verify my order would be canceled. Avoid this company at all cost.

My beef is not with the products sold by Harborfreight weather you are buying tennishoes or tools from China you get the quality according to country of manufacturer. The beef is with the flyers and coupons they distribute.unfortunately the older one gets the harder it is to see the fine print on the coupons. I drive 17 miles just to be told the 20% off coupon does not apply to the 300.00 worth of equipment i wish to purchase.My fault i did not have the vision to read all the categories in the microfis coupon. None of the items were on sale and after being disappointed with the news the coupon was not even applied to the one item that was valued at under 2 dollars that was not banned from the discount. This looks very much like a ploy to draw you in and pull the carpet out once you have arrived.

I guess China can’t restock them right now, hence all the negative reviews. I ordered an item a month ago. No email, no tracking number, nothing. Tried to call, can’t get through. Email to cancel a couple of times. To me, it isn’t that they don’t have anything in stock. I get it. Supply has been disrupted. It’s their extremely poor customer service that has forever put me off harbor freight. I’ll just spend extra of my money and provide it to US made products.

I placed an order a month ago. I called and the person said that she will make sure I get my refund because the item isn't even in stock. I asked if I could go to the store to pick it up and she said they are two different companies. The representative was extremely rude!
