I have had several repeating issues with my collar that will shock my dog with the full emergency shock on a glitch when she is right beside me or safe in our yard. When I look at the app it will show her away past the neighbors- when she is in fact with me safe. I have reached out to halo on multiple occasions for help to fix this- I don’t know if I got a faulty collar or if this is a common issue. But for the hefty price tag it’s an expensive counter decoration, since I can’t trust the collar to have it on her and not shock her for no reason. Seeing her get full blown shock for standing at the front door is pretty heartbreaking and cruel. I really wish someone would help me with this issue or send me a new collar. This is so not right. Because of this, I could never recommend this collar. Imagine if you didn’t see that they were being wrongly shocked repeatedly. Absolutely horrific.

So far I am really liking the collar. There has been a couple mishaps with gps locations and my dogs but overall pretty happy with the collar. I like being able to let him out and not worry about him and see him on the map. I really enjoy not being limited to one fence as we are always on the go. I look forward to seeing future improvements as the collar evolves

I ordered and paid for my Halo dog collar three weeks ago. No one can tell me the status other than "it's processing". No one can cancel the order. I have to go into a section of their website to do that, but NO.... It's a big loop!!! I've never dealt with a company where someone at the call center can't help with the order!!!! TERRIBLE SERVICE.

Unfortunately,I bought the halo collar in the winter and did not start training my dog until the spring (warmer weather/ no snow). The boundary was not consistent. Without changing the boundary line; a signal would go off half way through the yard and then not until you were half way in the road. I tried troubleshooting with customer service, tried it on different days. It was never reliable so I did not use it. I tried to return it but because it had been more than 60 days, they would not let me return it. I gave it to a friend to see if it would work at her house, she had similar issues. I again reached out to customer service and was politely told still no refund- I was out $900. Simply ridiculous. That is a lot of money! It can take weeks/months to train your dog. There return policy is horrible!

The charger port fell out of our collar, which is less than 6 months old. I have been trying for over 3 weeks to resolve the issue. Get it returned for repairs or exchange. The customer support SUCKS. You can not talk to an actual person, the dog park is an automated AI system which does not understand all questions. We seen good reviews on the collar that is why we spent SO MUCH on this. But we are not see anything good when things go wrong. I don't know that I would recommend this collar. NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER

Anissa was very helpful when I had questions about my halo collar gps connection. She was patient and walked me through everything.

After numerous calls to the HALO helpline I finally worked with Ricky, and he was clearly the most knowledgeable person I have had the pleasure to work with in their "Dog Park". their video helpline. Ricky got the collar up and running again, but the collar still needed to be replaced a week later, and HALO replaced the current 2-plus series collar with their new 3.0 collar. This was the fourth replacement over a few years as they keep upgrading their technology and equipment. Now we can watch our dog from the app as she roams in her 4 acres of woods and wetlands along the edge of the lake.
