My 85" Sony Tv sound goes out intermittently. Along with sound on and occasionally no picture. Guardsman came out 3 times. They replaced the mother board the 2nd time. The same problem exists and the same service technician. Genaro came back with a nasty condescending attitude. The sales rep and the office told me to have him write in his noted that the tv cannot be repaired properly and they would give me a credit to get a different brand tv. He says they are lying and Will NOT do it. STAY AWAY from this place and GUARDSMAN. They are horrendous !!

Absolutely horrible!!! This company is a scam and fraud!! I would give no stars if I could! We purchased the Guardsman Gold Plan from Haverty's. We filed a claim with them about pet damage to our sofa. The technician who came to our house to take pictures was very bitter and complained that Guardsman was a terrible company and basically expected him to work for free. A week or so after we then received an email saying that they could not do a high quality repair, so rather than do a low quality repair it would be sent for further review. The next email informed us that the damage was not covered in our plan. When I looked it up it clearly stated in the contract it was covered! The number they give you to call is useless. We have called 5 to 6 times and have been on hold for more than hour each time. The one time we did get through the woman asked for our phone number then disconnected the call. Guardsmans is nothing but a complete rip off!! I am also very disappointed in Haverty's for selling us this scam! I will not be buying furniture there again!

I filed a claim with Guardsman’s about a stain in my sofa. The stain was an in home incident and they denied the claim 3 times with different excuses. Each time that I called them, I had to wait over 50 minutes before I was connected to someone. It’s cheaper to bring a company that can come to my house and clean it. I’m sure it’s not going to cost me $300. What really gets me upset is the fact that they sent me a 4fl oz liquid for me to clean such a big sofa. I don’t know how to clean a sofa and I have really bad knees. I can imagine how many people they have scammed.

Worst experience of my life. If I could give it a zero I would. I've been trying to get a mechanism repaired on a $5000.00 flexsteal sofa. Customer service only open two days a week - repairman comes out after months of waiting and numberous phone calls. Takes a look at it needs a part more phone calls no answers disconnected constantly. It's now in review. Still no resolution after 4 months... Terrible service as others said take your money don't honor their commitment.

Bought a suite of furniture in Harvey Norman Drogheda. I was advised to take insurance out as it was expensive. My husband lost the stud on the back pocket of his work trousers and made two holes on one of the seats. Guardsman were ok to deal with and sent an engineer out fairly quickly. He told me that the suite couldn't be repaired and that i would get a replacement. But he said in his report to them that it was wear and tear so they said my claim was closed. I messaged the engineer to see why he told me one thing and reported another but he never replied. I would give them no stars if I had the option

Absolutely horrible. We had a stain on our fully warranted wool rug. After numerous requests to have the stain removed, they finally sent a tech. They attempted to remove the stain by cleaning, but were unsuccessful. We were told that we would hear from the company. Weeks later after hearing nothing, we finally got in touch only to find that they had closed the claim entirely. We requested the claim to be reopened and resolved, but Guardsman said too much time had passed and would not send another tech nor replace the rug. We were told we could "send a letter" to the corporate office ONLY. Despite doing this, we heard nothing, and no resolution was ever made. We ended up donating the rug, and replacing with a new one—DEFINITELY NOT from the same place, nor purchasing the same scam of a protection plan. My wife and I had paid a significant amount of money to have the rug covered for an incident exactly like what happened, and couldn't have been more disappointed by the customer support we received from this company. We would certainly never recommend, and would even go so far as to recommend to all that they avoid Haverty's Furniture who sold us the warranty with the rug in the first place.

Worse customer service I have ever encoutered in over 30 years. They keep you in a call queue for almost an hour at a time for each call. Not willing to assist in anything outside what is written in their warranty claim. Be mindful to read or for us we will never purchase a warranty backed by them again. We were told one thing and then another and could not get our claim processed. No option from lazy agents to assist, and their agents are rude and unwilling to do anything other than deny your claims without explanation or alternatives to provide good service.

Guardsman support is useless. The lady on the otherside always pickup the phone to say I dont have an answer. So better get some other insurance or coverage other than Guardsman. They always look for options not to give a service and which company runs business only on Monday and Tuesday!
