Ordered 5 counter stools and one was damaged. We were told they would replace it and have ups pick the damaged chair up. Which they did. When we asked when the replacement was coming they said it is no longer in stock! So we had to ship the other four chairs back. What a joke! Horrible customer service!!! Run from this company!

They claim a 20% discount when you sign up! But once you sign up they take the item that is clearly on sale and charge you full price for it….. then they take the 20% making it actually MORE with the supposedly discount! THEN, there is the ridiculous shipping charges!! Yea no thanks this place is too much!

If I could leave zero stars, I would do that. This is the worst experience I have ever had shopping with any company. I originally placed an order early October never received confirmation of that order. I had to call multiple times to see what was going on? They then told me my order was canceled because I no longer have the color I chose in stock. I switched the color to the next available color, everything was fine. It was in stock so they let me purchase it. I had to call back because I still did not receive any purchase order or confirmation. They told me that they sent it but I never received it. I asked them to send it again they told me that my order was in stock and set to ship November 13. Had to call November 15 because I still hadn’t received a receipt or a purchase order or anything about shipping called to let them know that my card was never charged. They told me that it was canceled because they don’t have it in stock. How is it 2023 and you were selling items that you don’t have in your warehouse or in your store? As a person who designs and remodels hotels and this was my go to store. I will NEVER shop here again.

Offer me one time 20% off site wide online. Go to purchase 2 items, excluded from my special discount. Talk abt bait & switch. Shame on you and your fake offers.

no refund despite shipping weeks ago

I tried to post a review and it keeps getting rejected, maybe because Grand in Road doesn't post honest but negative reviews? They don't want me to tell people how much it cost to send back counter stools that were WAY too short and didn't work with a standard counter. They rejected the review a 2nd time because it didn't meet their requirements. I was just honest. Apparently, they are not

Unfortunately, there is not a store close to me so I called and asked about ordering and if the item isn't to my standards, would I be able to return and the answer was absolutely, so I placed the order got it quickly and of course it was not something we wanted to keep, which is where the problem starts. Sure they absolutely said they would issue me a refund once they got the product back. That was the problem after 4 phone calls and a month NOTHING yet, so I finally had to call my credit card company (because if they don't pick it up they don't have to credit you - spoke to a manger before I called Chase and he did NOTHING but lip Service so don't bother buying anything from them, unless you want to keep it LOL

Scammed After Provide Information - I decided to give this company another try after receiving cheap merchandise from them in the past. Hoped things had improved. They send unrelenting marketing materials screaming of "20% Off Site Wide!", if you just give up your email address or cell phone number to allow them to text you. And so, I decide to go for it again. With $700 worth of merchandise in my online cart, I wait for their email with the discount code, having followed their instructions, and their promise. No code arrives, just another marketing email, yelling about 20% off site wide. So I go back to the site, now I see where it's a "20% off Site Wide Sale" for everyone, NOT just those who sign-up, as they had initially claimed. I go into my cart to see the total after the "20% Off Site Wide" discount has been applied... *Buzzer Sound*.... You guessed it. There WAS NO discount. There WAS NO 20% off. The after-season items I'd selected, Christmas decorations, which I was ordering in late January, (which you would think WOULD be on sale) had big red words next to each item, "Doesn't Qualify for 20% Off SITE WIDE"! ..... I get that this sort of thing is common, but it's a bait-and-switch at the least. At worst, they have scammed and defrauded you of your PERSONAL INFORMATION, offering an honest trade; you provide that information, they provide you with a discount. Only, they don't. And they appear to get away with it. It's time we insist that Congress regulate these types of shady, sketchy companies. Grandin Road now has something they wanted from me which I can't take back. I got nothing from them in return, no matter how boldly they claimed they would provide it to me. And that's criminal. I hope the FTC will eventually investigate and fine this sketchy business and others like it.
