My 12yo male boxer has been under Petplan for the last three years. We have encountered numerous health issues in his senior years resulting in claims from $100 to $1000+. I am grateful we had Petplan in place for his needed treatments. I have submitted multiple claims and they have covered under the policy/deductible guidelines. I don't know if we would have been able to do as much treatment, from a financial standpoint, had it not been for his Petplan policy. Submitting claims is streamlined and hassle free which I appreciate as caring for a sick animal is stressful enough without being hounded for more documentation. Thank you Petplan for being an important part of our sweet boy's medical care to give him the best quality of life possible.

I am new to being a pet owner, my first dog has been quite a trip already. He needs a hip surgery and I was scared that it wouldn't be covered. so I called in to check benefits and also to get a little peace of mind as I am new to having dogs, I am not so familiar with the terms many people use or the vets. I talked to a really nice girl named Kimberly, she not only explained my claim benefits and that the surgery would be covered, but she also made me feel at ease about the whole process. Being able to calm down a nervous pet owner is a great skill, and I hope if I ever call back again I have someone just as nice to help me through a bad situation.

I just got off the phone with an employee named Courtney and I just wanted her company and superiors to know how outstanding she is. Not only did Courtney answer all of my questions, she also did so with knowledge, patients and and kindness. She spoke about and represented your company so well. Although I have yet to invest in insurance for my puppy I without a doubt would get pet insurance with this company, above all others, because of staff members like Courtney. No need to look any further pet parents, if you need pet insurance you should definitely get it through this company because they have knowledgable, friendly and caring staff like Courtney! Thanks again!

Love this company! Our little guy was so sick in early 2014. Petplan was wonderful and fulfilled their coverage obligations. I had NO issues and their customer service is wonderful. His claim was pushing $10,000 and fortunately we didn't have to focus on the money part...we could focus on our little guy getting better. He will be 7 this week...he's doing great and is loving life. And a year ago when we got dog #2...we purchased Petplan for him too! Thank goodness we haven't had to use it but it's great knowing we have it! Thank you Petplan! Highly recommend this company - with NO hesitations!

Consumer Beware: This company is not transparent! I purchased insurance back in January online to find out a week later they were having IT issues so my policy never went through. So, I purchased the policy over the phone where I was never notified their deductible is PER incident. Yes, do not assume this insurance is reflective of medical insurance. They recoup their payout by charging $200 per incident deductible and mislead you about how this system works. When I went to dispute the payout claim I was told that if they listened to the phone conversation and found that I was not informed of the way the deductible works I would be refunded the $200. Nope! Another misleading statement as I have now talked with TWO supervisors who refuse to refund me even though I was told I would be. The supervisors even listened to the phone call where their employee said I would be refunded but NOPE they are unwilling to stand behind their employees lack of training or mistakes. I know pet insurance is a shady company but I thought I would give it a try anyways. Ridiculous. If you are looking for transparency and honest don't buy their plan. Purchase elsewhere! This is what they message me on FB when they decided to delete my post and further mislead consumers: "Thank you Melissa. Do to the language of your post and the fact that Kristina spoke to you prior to these posts and explained the per condition deductible I have removed your post from the wall. I consulted with our head of service as to the accuracy of the details provided to you and was assured there was no error made. If you would like to continue communicating with us about your frustrations, please call us at 1-866-467-3875 or reach out to Kristina directly."

Please never use PetPlan insurance company They use former employees in signing of emails and deny deny deny claims . Give them the boot!

Gall bladder removal: Our Max was so sick, and the bills were astronomical. Well over $7000. Pet Plan paid all but $200 within two weeks of submitting the claim. This is one of many very positive experiences we have had with Pet Plan. They have saved us thousands of dollars. Were it not for this plan, we might have lost Max due to financial hardship. Their customer service, whether by phone, email or claims processing, is efficient and very regarding of the pet owners and what they are going through with their sick pet. I never had to worry about checking in with the company. Our CVS Emergency Vet Specialists are very familiar with this company and its ease in filing claims. I highly recommend pet insurance from Pet Plan. They cover your pet and give you peace of mind. I just had a great conversation with Pet Plan's rep, Kim. She was immediately helpful and cheerful. What a pleasure. Thank you Pet Plan for helping Max live a longer and healthier life.

We have had Petplan for over 7 years and have literally saved over $15,000 due to the coverage we have on each of our pets. We submit claims and are usually reimbursed in a week's time. We love the peace of mind knowing that our fur babies will always get the care they need without us going broke, thanks to Petplan.
