Absolutely terrible company

Absolutely terrible company. It is costly for what you get. If you order anything from their marketplace the shipping costs are high. Their way of doing things makes no sense. If you are browsing and put something into your shopping cart they assume it is a purchase and charge your credit card within 24 hours. I had several charges put on my card and no idea what they are for. I tried to remove my card information from their site and could not without cancelling and even then it held onto the information. When you sign up they tell you that you can skip a month but if you do not select a box they send you a “surprise” box instead and it is the cheap stuff that nobody wants. I tried to get someone to call me and they refused to do this. Stay away it is not worth it!! The response below is of no assistance whatsoever. You should never be able to charge people for items unless they submit a final approval - every single other online shopping site does this. Your method is sneaky and appears to be a way to drive up sales. Additionally sending me a box I did not want or ask for also is wrong. I get plenty of communications from GlobeIn and not a single one advised me that they were going to charge my credit card without my approval. I am dealing with someone who is of no help whatsoever, there is several hours delay or more for responses. You would also think if someone is contacting a company because their credit card has been improperly charged that this would warrant a phone call. Unless of course everyone is messaging for the same reason.

Unfortunately, we are unable to take phone calls at this time due to our limited customer support team. Just to clarify; we do have a 24-hour timer on your Add-ons cart that notifies you of when you will be charged for the items if you do not remove them from your cart. You will be auto-charged for items in your cart 24 hours after you added the last item to your cart if you do not remove them. My first 6 months with GlobeIn!!!
I first subscribe to GlobeIn about 6 months ago, and I am very glad I did! I purchased the Creme Brulee Box for my husband. Then I bought the Hostess Box well truth be told I bought 2. The workmanship is outstanding. I can't say enough great things about GlobeIn. If for some unbeknownst reason something should go wrong with any thing from ordering to returns to just helping you out GlobeIn associates are so very nice and very helpful. Thank you GlobeIn for bringing the World into my home!!! I love my Stainglass Lanterns etc,etc. Robin Prinz.

I absolutely love my subscription
I absolutely love my subscription! We time we receive a box my family and I enjoy learning about the culture behind each of the products and knowing how our support is helping those who need it.

I have loved almost everything but
I have loved almost everything I have received. But now I guess we don't get to pick our monthly boxes anymore unless we pay $. I pay a good bit of $ for this subscription so im not really happy about that.

Just to clarify: Most Artisan Boxes in the Artisan Fair are dynamically priced based on the price you paid for your subscription at checkout. By selecting ‘Customize’, you will receive the equivalent amount in Maven Money as to what you paid per box for your subscription. Here’s an example to better explain: If you purchase a 3 Month Subscription for the starting price of $140 (first month free shipping), then you will receive $46.67 in Maven Money when you select ‘Customize’. For your 3 Month Renewal, you will be billed $150. At that point, you will receive $50 in Maven Money when you select ‘Customize’. Each month, you can purchase a theme with that Maven Money without any extra cost to you. You can choose any of the dynamically priced boxes in the Artisan Fair and you will not be charged anything extra, or any additional shipping for these boxes. If you purchase the non-dynamically priced boxes (aka Deluxe Boxes), then you will be charged shipping at that time along with the rest of the Artisan Fair items you choose.
