I was impressed at how quickly I received my glasses. They have progressive, transition lenses, so not exactly off the shelf. I think they could have beveled the back edge of my lenses a bit more - feels a bit sharp - but that's not a complaint, just an observation. ~ former optician

Easy to order and the delivery was expedited quickly

Slow shipping due to production issues which I understand is out of their control. The low rating is due to lack of communication and follow through. I had to initiate all contact despite being delayed twice. They promised a 5% refund but I had to call again before it was applied. Then was promised expedited shipping which didn't happen. Their CSR were very helpful and nice but seems like the company lacks cohesive communication and follow through.

They show you a price during the frames/lens selection process that is not the same as in your cart. Basically if you try to find a pair that will be covered by insurance, it won't be covered because the cheaper ones are normally on sale and sales items won't be covered by insurance. Their customer service is also a joke-- they make you wait but immediately close out of chats, they don't review the chat history and they ask questions that they should have answers to.

The frames fit my face well, the lenses fit the frames and the prescription was spot on. The time from ordering to delivery was 7 days, pretty astonishing really, thank you glasses.com!

Trying to buy glasses on this website is the most infuriating experience I've had on a website in a long time. Doing just about anything (like switching to another tab and back) loses the insurance information, so I had to re-enter it 6+ times. Trying to use _any_ discount along with insurance blocks the insurance from working but never tells you why the insurance isn't working, just error for no reason. Finally once that's all navigated past, it keeps throwing up errors when trying to pay for the order with a credit card. Eventually I was able to get around that by paying via PayPal, but it's like they don't really want you to buy glasses from them.
