Once I found the correct adapter the fountain stayed on for more than a few hours so everything is OK now and my dog loves it and he is also drinking more often so all is going great now thanks .

Love this fountain!
I originally bought the fountain for my dog to put outside, but decided to bring it in, since she spends most of her time inside while it is so hot outside. She loves it, and my cats love it as well. I've noticed they drink a lot more water now.

My dogs love their new drinking fountain. They weren't quite sure at first, but now they use it more than the old bowl. It is super easy to setup and maintain.

It is great to see all of our 4 dogs…
It is great to see all of our 4 dogs from 7 years to 4 months drinking from the fountain. Puppy loves drinking from it! Our 5 year old has restricted activity so she came to it slowly. When she couldn't move around much we just filled her water bowl from the fountain. We have 2 of the larger size. Even took them both on vacation!

If I could do 0 stars I would. These people are not good people.
1. If you buy ANY water bowl you MUST read the fine print.
2. You have NO option to buy one of their products without them automatically signing you up for a monthly subscription of $60 to send you filters/dental drops.
3. The ONLY way you can buy a product and not get charged an additional $60 is to AGREE TO THE SUBSCRIPTION JUST TO CANCEL IT AFTER PLACING THE ORDER! WTF! (They really sat there and thought this was a genius idea!)
4. This sounds like a company that REALLY hopes that you will forget the monthly subscription at least once. If that isn't the case- why do they not give you the option to do business with them without them automatically signing you up for a subscription service? Not only that- I had to look VERY HARD to find anywhere it tells you about the ongoing subscription.
Absolutely slimey, and ridiculous.

Subscription renewal reminders are also sent before any renewal order is processed, giving customers time to review, manage, or cancel their subscription if they choose.

Thank you for your question!
If you have the wireless version of the Selene fountain, this behavior is actually normal when it's not plugged in. The fountain is designed to conserve battery power by operating in Sensor Mode or Timer Mode, so it will automatically turn on and off rather than run continuously.
If you'd like the water to flow continuously, simply keep the fountain plugged in and switch it to Keep Working Mode.
