GM Warranties are a Scam
GM/Chevy does not honor their warranties. GM will blame the dealer and the dealer will blame GM. Avoid dishonest car manufacturers … unless you want to be scammed.

GM trucks don't last anymore
Have a 10 year old truck. Love it, low mileage. Oil tech riggerously to keep it and now disappointed as frame rotting out....gm customer service said so sad too bad. Found out magna didn't dip frames supplied for 4 years. That's QC for you. Just another gm scam. Best friends until you have a problem

Run , run as fast as you can !
My GMC Yukon 2021 engine is broken down!
General Motors have so many excuses for not fixing it! & I’m still under warranty!!
They make you feel you are the responsible for this big issue from their company !
Last time I get Chevy or GMC!

Please please do not buy Suburban not…
Please please do not buy Suburban not only me but 15 other people I know had transmission issues within 100k not once but everyone had twice at least and worst thing it takes more than a month to get the part from GM and sometimes its not driveable, so imagine if you using car for business and you are without it for months and loosing thousands of dollars. And these are new 2023 2024.

If I could give a 0 I would
If I could give a 0 I would. I have a 2021 Chevy Trailblazer that I have had nothing but issues with. I have previously made a complaint and nothing was done about it and the dealership lied about the time my car was there. I have service reports advising of my vehicle being brought in on multiple occasions including 1 time then having it for a month with no repairs and other occasions 2 weeks. GM telling me they have no reports of it being there that long. They have repaired a faulty brake switch after, a pulley in the transmission, and an emission purge pump vehicle doesn't even have 30,000 miles on it. The original complaint that has not been fixed is the popping when turning left.

A Warning to Potential Buyers: My Alarming Experience with GM’s Cadillac XT5
2 years ago, I purchased a Cadillac XT5 2023 brand new from General Motors, excited and hopeful. However, from day one, this vehicle has been nothing short of a nightmare. The display screen constantly restarts — sometimes up to 10-20 times a day — cutting off calls and GPS functions mid-use. Despite multiple visits to the dealership for repairs and their claim that the issue had been fixed by replacing the part, the problem continues.
Another issue, no less serious, is the oil leakage from the driver’s side front section. I have repeatedly brought it in for repairs, yet the leakage persists. But the most catastrophic issue is with the brakes. Just two weeks after purchase, I was horrified to discover that I had no braking power and rushed to the dealership in panic. They claimed to have replaced a component and assured me that the issue was fixed, but the brakes failed five more times after that. Each time, the dealership insisted the problem was completely resolved. On the fifth occasion, they provided a long list of parts they claimed to have replaced and kept the vehicle for 40 days for testing and repairs. But after returning the car, only five days of driving later, the brakes failed a sixth time.
That time, I found myself in an extremely dangerous situation, narrowly avoiding a collision with other vehicles and pedestrians. I was forced to tow the car back to the dealership. It has now been 21 days, and I still do not have my car back.
My main question to General Motors is this: would you feel safe putting your own family in a car that has lost its brakes six times? If my family or I had been harmed, or if I had hit someone in this unreliable vehicle, who would be responsible?
In the past two years, my car has spent roughly six months at the dealership for repairs. I’ve called GM numerous times to request a replacement or refund, speaking to four representatives over the last 60 days, yet received nothing but delay tactics. Instead of addressing the problem, it seems they simply wanted to wear me down.
I have all service records, recorded conversations, and screenshots of OnStar warnings, ready to present to any court or potential buyer. I am sharing this review to inform others and to document my experience: I cannot trust GM’s products or customer service. No one will be accountable or responsive to your concerns.

Awful experience with the service department, and customer service
This was our third Chevy, and unfortunately it will be our last, our car was brought to the dealer three times, and they were not able to fix the problem. The third time we had to get a rental, but the dealer does not have cars on the lot so we had to rent one, they said we could rent a car for 45.00 a day, we had the rental for about a week, and the bill came to $440.00, we faxed the bill over to Gm, it took over a month to get the reimbursement check, they sent us a check for $308.00, I called gm left a message for our representative, who took two days to call us back. She said that was the maximum payment we were allowed, and they do not cover, any taxes that were due. So my complaint is our car was next fixed, awful customer service! We are very disappointed with General Motors.
