If there was a negative star that’s what I’d give them their customer service is horrible I purchased a brand new Corvette and it’s been in the shop more than I’ve even had the vehicle I had to hire a lawyer they sold me a lemon! Buy a car somewhere else they are garbage! Five repairs later and my car has been in the shop since November this is absolutely ridiculous have shown no interest in taking the lemon that they sold me back!!

GM Quality
GM , Quality is bankrupt , commercials talk of Family and JD Power associates . First off if my Family sold me something that ends up being as bad as my GMC Sierra Denali , they'd be would be disowned . JD Power , only Selectively allows people rate GM products . Kinda like if you have any kinda of problems or complaints your not allow to give a REVIEW . No wonder they Give GM a high rating , they exclude the BAD , nice honest system ???
More and more People who have bought GM for most their lives are saying NEVER AGAIN . Been a GM customer / Product owner over 40 years , I now say NEVER AGAIN . GM can Keep their bad Quality and Unreliable Products , Just look at the recalls , for the last few years , before you buy . GM puts more effort into looks than Quality and reliability , If you want a Expensive Driveway Ornament , buy GM . Told my Neighbor not to buy one , but they thought my GMC Denali looked good , Now they aren't very happy . Buy with your head ( READ ALL THE 1-3 Star reviews to get a honest opinion ) not because you like the looks , cause those looks don't make the vehicle reliable or guarantee its quality made, no matter the amount you paid for it . JMO GM could careless about you , once you bought the vehicle

If not starts we’re available I would…
If no stars we’re available I would leave that, I own a 2006 h3. Yes it is a older vehicle but it was poorly engineered and has nothing to do with the age of the vehicle. When it rains a component in the dash gets wet and causes my vehicle to go into reduced power mode. I called to see if there was a recall, and I feel there should have been because I’m not the o my person experiencing this problem that has nothing to do with the mileage or the age it’s simply poor engineering on gm’s behalf. I was told there was nothing they can do about it and to bring in to a dealership where I will be financially responsible for aftermarket components to be sure “their” vehicle functions properly. It had been dangerous because you can be in the interstate and the care will die down while you’re pulling out in from of semis etc. I will never own another vehicle manufactured by gm. They seek junk and do not stand behind their work!!!

I own a 2014 Corvette stingray that I was locked out of because of a dead battery. There is a key hole above the rear license plate that's supposed to open the trunk so I can get into the vehicle. Both original keys didn't open trunk now I have no access, vehicle towed to dealership and found out cable was not attached so all I got from gm is sorry your out of warranty. I purchased vehicle brand new for over 75k and cable wasn't attached so I am to blame.SHAME ON GM I WAS CONSIDERING BUYING THE NEW ONE NOT ANYMORE

My 3 children were severely injured…
This is the hardest I’ve ever cried after dealing with General Motors. My 3 children (2 twin babies and a teenager) were severely injured while riding in a 2014 Chevrolet Traverse. I reached out to General Motors to file a complaint in July 2019 because of the vehicle my babies were riding in accelerated uncontrollably and hit 2 vehicles and a light pole that hit another vehicle that had someone sitting in it and knocked that person unconscious. I mean this vehicle caused some damages and really hurt people. The seatbelts unbuckled upon impact, airbags did not deploy, and there was a mechanical issue with the accelerator. I contacted NHTSA to make them aware of the situation they did absolutely nothing and I was very patient and kind throughout the process yet frustrated that my babies suffered injuries from this traumatic experience while simply going out for ice cream. The filing a complaint process was a JOKE. I’m currently waiting on a response from Ms. Mary Barra or Mr. Mark Reuss to make her or he aware of what happened to my babies because obviously those claim department people really don’t care about consumers and heck I wasn’t even their customer just a mom who trusted my kids to ride in what presumed to appear as a safety motor vehicle. I just know she will do something about this. Imagine witnessing your twin babies having to get adjustments and your teenage daughter to have seizures from a 3 in car collision and someone basically says screw those kids it’s not my fault we just made the vehicle. I didn’t tell them to ride in it. I mean I just thank God for watching over my kids on July 10, 2019 because they could have died. General Motors are Hurtful to people for allowing this to happen and should feel ashamed for not accommodating or even apologizing to my kids. Shame on them!!!!! Talking about going Electric with their cars JESUS BE WITH ANYONE who purchases one of those...UPSET MOM!!!

Not what they claim to be
It is a year now since my purchase of a 2018 Chevrolet Malibu. The following is my review of the Car’s quality, review of features and performance. Before I move on with this review, I understand the aspects of buyer beware and pricing and all that. The focus of this review is not about price paid. It is intended to assist buyers to align cost to value.
Car: 2018 Chevy Malibu basic model.
1.5 ltr turbo engine
6 speed automatic transmission
Front wheel Drive + Traction control feature.
Rear Camera
Infotainment system
Power and air conditioning
Manual Bucket seats
Consumer Review:
Based on overall quality and features of this car. I value it as brand new off the lot rounded at 13K. Used depreciation and value at no more that 10k out the door (Not including Malibu's with more features and accessories). Why is it only worth 13K new? The following is my review. It is this review, I base my price on.
Features:
1. Auto stop feature: Nothings is more annoying than coming to a stop and having your engine cut out. The engineer that designed this obviously has no concept building cars. Originally designed to skimp on gas, this feature is a complete waste of technology. The Auto stop feature does nothing more than ware on the starter, cylinder walls, Pistons and Timing systems. The auto stop feature negatively effects the performance and life expectancy of the car. This feature is a safety hazard when the car is on a hill or it fails to restart as I have seen some Malibu’s do. This feature sharply decreases the performance value of the Malibu of all models. Nothing is more scary than having your engine cut out. You hope and pray it starts again. I wonder how many GM owners have been left on the side of the road due to this failed feature.
2. Infotainment center: what on earth was General Motors thinking with this complete wast of tech. After a year in this vehicle, I find the Onstar, Cellular, WiFi connections and GPS are a waste. They serve me no purpose. Without a smartphone, the infotainment system is nothing more than a glorified radio. While there is use for the Onstar, it is absolutely worthless with our an over rated and expensive subscription. After reviewing the EULA for these services. All these services really do, is give General Motors a ticket to collect and profit from your data. Even Smart Phone data. General motors must get a clue! Majority of owners have smart phones that does everything this system does. This infotainment system is not needed.
I see no need to spend extra for features that are a complete waste of tech.
If you are considering buying a Malibu (new or used), I would subtract up to 5K if the vehicle has a so called infotainment system! I would also demand General Motors send you a monthly check as a legitimate purchase of your data they will collect from you using this system.
3. Handling: The factory tires are the worst. They are the worst for snow. This is a sign to me General Motors takes to many shortcuts. Brand new tires that fail in winter months are a safety hazard. Going into my second winter I am nervous the car will fail in the snow as it did last year. A mere four inches of snow and General Motors can leave you stranded.
Because I got stuck, you can guess it. The Traction control system obviously failed. That makes the traction control system another complete waste of General Motors tech. If the system worked as advertised, my car would have handled the winter just fine. Especially four inches driveway snow.
The steering is electric. I have not had an issue with this. That is a positive for General Motors. But don’t rest easy, I know if at least one electric General Motors system fail, and have read about others.
4. Style: I General Motors lacks its own style. Its a cookie cutter style that mimics its competitors. I take this as a sign that General Motors lacks creativity to create anything stylish on its own.
5. Performance:
Engine is small and gutless. The 1.5 ltr turbo engine represents nothing more than an overclocked lawnmower engine. The 1.5 ltr turbo fails to perform when needed. You have to work the throttle slow to allow the transmission to keep pace. If this car makes a 100k miles I will be extremely surprised. I think this vehicles is bests situated for people that only require slow town drives and the occasional highway or freeway drive. The Malibu is sort of equivalent to one of those in town moped scooters we see people riding on.
The Eco Mode is a joke. It may conserve energy but at the same time it causes your car to fail to perform when needed. The biggest issue is the eco mode, causes my windshield to fog. This is a danger when driving. I turn off the eco mode when ever possible because it causes too many issues and hazards.
6. Factory Warranty:
The The most worthless part of this vehicle is the So called Bumper to bumper warranty. It is non existence. I have been at it for about four months with General motors to file a claim on the defective car I purchased. I learned the Factory Bumper warranty is absolutely worthless. For this reason alone, no General Motors product is worth the purchase because General Motors does not honor their warranty.
Overall performance, style and price for the Chevy Malibu fails to meet my expectations. New or used, I doubt I will ever own another Malibu let alone another General Motors. Its lack of features, performance and handling fails to keep pace with today's standards.

The worst vehicle purchase I ever made
The worst vehicle purchase I ever made. A brand new truck with the underside covered in rust. I’ve been told by GM there’s nothing they can do to help. The 2019 Chevy 2500 LTZ truck came from a Chevrolet dealership in Chesapeake, VA. with 47 miles and the rust. I was told the rust is covered by a service bulletin that is not related to the rust on the truck I purchased. GM needs to send a zone representative to my residence to look at this vehicle. Someone other than Halls dealership needs to see this. Look at the pictures posted on your Facebook page! GM is a joke...... customer service is terrible don’t waste your time and money purchasing a Chevy you’ll regret it down the road.
